I initially booked three nights here and extended it to five. Everything was excellent. Large room that was super clean with crispy white sheets and pillows. Bed very, very comfortable and the TV was huge. A/c and wifi worked perfectly. There's a microwave and a fridge, kettle and toaster. Knives, forks and crockery provided, also super clean. I really could not fault anything in the room. In addition to a clean room, for me, a pool and BBQ is important and this motel has a very clean pool and pool area with shade and sun loungers. There are two BBQs, both clean and worked perfectly. BBQ tools are provided if required. The owner Matt is very friendly and approachable and does a lot of the maintenance himself. That's why in particular the pool area and BBQ area is so nice, but the rest of the grounds are clean and tidy too. I decided to rebook this motel for some more time during my travels in Australia and I am very much looking forward to going back.

Generous size room with king bed & bathroom . Clean , quiet & in good condition with modern smart TV. Easy parking & close to township. Only negative for us the bar fridge was too small for us, as we stayed for a few days. Would stay again.

The room is fine, the gentleman running it very good. The problem, at least in my room was you can hear everything in the next room, you can hear people talking, the television, everything, and obviously they can hear you too. The pipes in wall are loud enough to wake you up, I’ve never experienced anything like it.

Dear Stuart, what i do not understand after 32 years in hospitality is how as a motel owner you try and interact will all guests to make their experience exceed their expectations but some guests do not want to communicate problems or shortfalls during their stay so they can be fixed or investigated. They would rather just post a review at the end of their stay voicing their opinions. Finally thank you for the review and I will investigate the issues pointed out.Best regardsMatt

Great little Motel
A very friendly welcome at check in. The room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, including an excellent shower. Located a little out of the main drag, it was quiet and easy to find.

Large clean room with a comfortable bed. The onsite manager was great to deal with. My only complaint is that the hot water kept cutting in and out when I was having a shower in the morning. I assume that all the other guests were having their showers at the same time and the hot water service couldn't cope.

Modern Australian colonial design. An awesome bed, clean, tidy, comfortable and pleasant. A well managed property. This was my most pleasant motel on my five day trip.

The plumbing was a bit noisy but the bed was very comfortable and the owner told us the best place to eat and also warned us about a speed camera up the road to the township! Great food at the recommended spot The imperial Hotel. Would stay there again: helpful host & comfortable room.

Very clean. Matt was very helpful. Cleaning staff friendly and obliging. Very quite with no street noise. Lack of a tea towel in kitchen was the only item I noticed missing.

One of the very best country motels.
Quick overnight stop. A really great reasonably priced country motel. As clean as any of the top tier hotels. Friendly and helpful manager. Five stars on all of the important features : Extremely comfortable king bed and crisp clean sheets; high flow hot shower.; quiet environment; excellent heating/cooling; spacious room including table and chairs and a couch and a work desk.
