The hotel and staff there were excellent. Breakfast could be better.. I think the hot food was prepared for a 7.00a.m. opening and was singularly unappealing when i arrived at 9.00. Otherwise, cereals n fruit offered were fine

Best hotel we've stayed in in Australia. Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.

Had another wonderful stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The two bedroom apartment we had was huge - plenty of room to spread out in. This to me is literally the perfect place to stay in Canberra.

Lovely suite with separate kitchen/living area & bedroom. Very well equipped with everything needed for an independent stay. Lovely pool & gym facilities & excellent paid parking option. The hotel is well located & within easy walking distance of city centre shops and restaurants

Beware, roof top bar can be booked for private function, givening you no access and also closed on a Sunday,,,

Stayed here to be close to family living in Downer. Pleasantly surprised and great value for money.

Nice quiet hotel, near railway station and bus stop, good breakfast, free laundry facilities

We stayed 1 night in a Family room (2x adults & 2x teenages) and my parents in a separate room, it was excellent. Comfy beds and pillows, it was clean and spacious perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fact that parking was included in the price (as we had 2 cars) was the reason for choosing the Brassey. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others.

Property was very located , clean and tidy. The room was excellent, lovely view, spacious and very clean. The public transport is excellent, making it very easy to get around the city.

Clean modern hotel with restaurant. Pool needed cleaning.

I loved the history dotted around the hotel. I highly recommend if you’re core visit is to Parliament House.
