"The price of the actual room was fantastic for what you get. The bed was very comfortable and room was a lovely size. Air conditioning unit being on at my request was a great touch. Only downsides I would say - Towels are too small (as with all hotels) - Prices for snacks were astronomical - £4 for a small tub of pringles you can get in the local shop for around 90p. "

"On arrival I realised I had booked the wrong room. The reception staff were most helpful and resolved the situation very quickly. A very enjoyable stay with excellent breakfast and bar facilities. I stay here quite frrequently during the summer (to visit Fermyn Wood nearby) and have always had a comfortable and issue free stay."

"Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. Very friendly greeting from reception on arrival. Room was way better than I imagined with a view of the gardens.Nice large and comfy bed and decor was a high standard.Booked a superior room so got an entrance hall and dressing room. Grounds were stunning and enjoyed a walk before a nice evening meal. The hotel bar was in the great hall which was an amazing location. The only let down was the WiFi and phone reception.Probably due to the location and age of building. Would recommend to anyone wanting a luxury break away in the country."
