"This resort was recommended by a work colleague as being a small but friendly place with a chilled out vibe and excellent beach/snorkelling access. This was all true. We really enjoyed the quieter atmosphere, being able to use the pool and pool loungers whenever we wanted, hardly anyone else on the beach right across the road from the resort, great parking, and always getting a table in the resort restaurant at the time we wanted. The staff are very helpful and friendly and we received room service every day whether we asked for it or not. We enjoyed being able to try out the Beach Bar and Grill and Crab Shack for variety of meals - literally a 300m walk down the road from Bedarra. We also walked another 100 m past these places to check out the huge Outrigger Resort. It was packed to the gunnels with people - mostly families with kids. We ate at the restaurant there one day too but on the whole were glad to get away from the noise and busy-ness and back to Bedarra. We'd highly recommend staying here - our 16 and 18 year olds shared a room next door to us and that worked well. Very good value for money. We could see the beach from our room balcony on 1st floor (rm 10 was great)."

"Whilst I had a nice stay here, I want to point out that their website does not accurately reflect the resort rooms (eg; Ocean view rooms are NOT) and some of the details are misleading as to what the resort has to offer. If you don’t read the website and don’t have high expectations, you will love it however I was disappointed mainly due to the "ocean view" room location. There is a good vibe around the resort. A man plays the ukulele under the tree at various times through the day and the beach is beautiful. The 2 restaurants have nice food and the staff are so friendly. The rooms are nice with a very comfy bed & lovely bathroom. There is also coffee and tea facilities in the room. Id stay again, without my expectations."

"Absolutely amazing experience staying at the Hideaway. We stayed in a deluxe beach front villa and woke up every morning to a most amazing view of the private beach. Food was amazing and the staff were even better! I celebrated my 26th birthday whilst there and was surprised with a birthday dessert and song sang by staff and other guest that were present. It was very special We also got a taste of what life for a local is like in Fiji and felt safe and cared for the entire time by staff, ensuring I was having a good time, but most importantly, safe leaving, during and returning. Massive shout out to Tash, Izzy, Ziggy, Lita, John and others for making the stay unforgettable!!"

"Clean room, serviced everyday. The staff were friendly and soon started to recognize us and said hi which felt homely. Breakfast was great at all places and especially the dinner at Takali was yum!!! We loved the pool area and the activities for the kids looked like a lot of fun and the beach activities too. We loved our experience and would be back."

"What a beautiful place! It was very convenient to stay here with our baby and the staff were so overwhelmingly joyous and helpful with him. Book a room away from the pool area as the loud music was a challenge for day naps. "Fiji time" will mean you miss out on things so if you're Type A, don't go with the flow completely and book ahead for activities like the glass bottom boat and restaurants. You need to book days ahead. Communication systems could be improved like a notification when you can snorkel, tides changed quickly. The snorkelling just a metre off the sand is unreal!!"
