The retreat is a little out of the way however it is amazing. The staff were so accommodating even when we arrived late. The village tour was just amazing, the place was so relaxing just want we needed
The staff were wonderful and the place is beautiful. The gardens are very well maintained. There are activities everyday and music in the evenings. The people living in the village next door are very friendly and the children are very nice and respectful. The spa is wonderful. The chefs are friendly and answer any questions you may have about local food.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
The rooms were unfortunately very dirty. My parents had eight lizards in their room and they pooped on their bed. We did have an amazing time with the staff. Inoki, Mere, and Chef Fakhim were beyond kind to us and made the best drinks, had the best service, and made us feel special. Exceptional staff and service though the cleanliness was not nearly the best we’ve experienced in Fiji.
We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were nicely kept. Limited options for food menu but everything we ate was very good. Wifi was excellent.
Operational staff from the village were all helpful, happy and friendly. Meals were lacking vegetables. Continental breakfast and availability to have cooked breakfast was terrific. Loved being involved in daily organised activities at retreat , including village tour.
I feel that locals and reception staff could work together moreso to provide transfers for guests to allow more options.
Overall a memorable experience with Fijian locals. Vinaka
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Most of the staff lived in the village next door which was lovely, as we were able to to experience the village such seeing their church, village hall and some of the ladies who lived there and their Handicrafts.
Food selection was average, but the chefs was happy to cook food to order if there wasn't anything suitable on the menu.
Room was clean and tidy with air con and a lovely outdoor shower.
Location was a bit secluded but was on a beautiful beach front with another resort further along the beach.

Loved our stay. Family friendly… very quaint and the staffs are lovely.
Staff willing to assist..Breakfast .. same same every day and anything cooked you pay for.
Room very very basic..BED , SIDE TABLE , DATED BATHROOM, NOISY FAN AND AC AND THAT IS IT.. No tv or radio and extremely weak WiFi.
The so called resort in in the middle of nowhere and unless you have a car you are at the resorts MERCY as you cannot go anywhere. What you see in their listing is NOT WHAT YOU GET...Small sandy beach head which disappeared at low tide and snorkeling??? Do not expect much .. a few small coral rocks and some tropical fish and that is it.. Because you are trapped at a resort in the middle of nowhere be prepared to pay plenty for basic lunches and dinners Fjd 45.00 for Fried rice ??. The food menu is very basic and does not change much .. and here is the clincher.. THE RESORT PROHIBITS ANYONE FROM BRINGING ANY FOOD OR DRINKS FROM OUTSIDE THE RESORT... THE PENALTY FOR THIS IS LISTED AT FJD200 PER DAY...figure that out..bad luck if you bought duty free alcohol..Plan to book day tours through there resort.. FORGET IT .. you will pay through the nose and then some..
Best place for us, such great staff and the location is unbeatable. Big thumbs up also to Minnie for fantastic boat tours, incl fishing and spearfishing, and Manassa for excellent cooking AND line fishing tutorials :)

Our room was serviced daily. We had an awesome view of the ocean an surrounding areas.Abit let down on the spa pool not working and pool needing a good clean bit other than that staff were awesome and had an awesome sense of humor an we were informed about activities nightly
The staff are so helpful and friendly. We were treated like homecoming family. They really make you welcome. Everyday there are different activities if you want to join in. The sunset cruise is good! We will definitely return.
Crusoe's is a lovely option if you want quiet and secluded. The grounds are lovely, there's a pool and hot tub, perfect when it's rainy and the views from the bures on the hill is majestic.
Air conditioning worked, but only if shutters on screen windows were closed, allowing no natural light nor any outside views of ocean, garden etc.
Breakfast was often stale bread, canned pears and peaches.
The staff was wonderful. The Administration, not so! For several days they kept ducking me in order to avoid hearing multiple complaints about the difference between their VERY OLD website and the reality of the resort.... including filth, no activites, no entertainment, no spa, no gourmet foids, no clean sandy beach, housekeeping finaly after a week, dead fish in the outdoor shower removed after 3 days of asking, ....
A refund was not an option accirding to a vety vain Administration young woman for the majority if the 21 days booked. I left early, loosing at least $900 Canadian, and refused to pay the small amount i owed for some meals.
Were it not for the Staff the days there would have bern total hell. They did their best. They did tell me they had had to call in the Ministry of Labour.
Setting is paradise. Living there is not.
