Enjoyed our stay and quiet location. Enjoyed reading the history of the cabin and original owners. Very convenient to wedding venue and restaurants. For our needs a small dining table & chairs vs the daybed would have been nice. Thanks!
Super cute, super clean, a wonderful “unplugged” experience. It’s 20 minutes from Texas Renaissance festival (a large part of the reason why we booked it) and was a great way to get close to the festival without staying on the grounds!
I am co-producing a short film and the other producer and I saw we needed a location asap. I called the owner of the cabin and they were kind enough to make room for our production to barge in last minute and film on their grounds. Ultimately, the cast and crew couldn't make the trip, but I am incredibly grateful for the conversation with the owner, her willingness and openness to us using the property, and the hospitality on such short notice. I hope to one day film something there in the future.
This little cabin was sweet and special-perfect for a couple or single guest. Come prepared to eat out or bring small items as they have a mini fridge available. They offered delicious breakfast items while we stayed. All in all, it’s a sweet place to stay!
This renovated cabin was absolutely beautiful! We especially loved the comfy front and back porches. Can't beat drinking coffee on the porch, watching the birds and geese, and playing some fun yard games! P.S. we took our cat and she LOVED this place for back porch bird watching :)

Anniversary
The cabin is very cute and unique. My husband and I were on a belated anniversary get away weekend. The host had it decorated in Christmas decorations which was precious. We didn’t spend much time at the cabin. But if that is your plan they have tons of games and things for you to do. The only downfalls of the stay was the bed was not meant for grown people to sleep on. I wish they would have had a regular bed in the cabin. The location is great but there Is no privacy if you are planning a romatic weekend.

Nice escape
Overall, we enjoyed the cabin and the property. I'm focusing my review on staying there with small kids since the other reviews give enough info for adult travelers. We ran into a few unexpected issues that probably wouldn't be that much of a problem for adults without kids.
First, the trundle does not actually turn into a king bed. The pull-out twin does raise up, but there's no way to hook it onto the main twin to keep it from rolling away. Our 2 year old climbed on it at one point and fell right in between the twins when one of them rolled away. This led us to have to rethink our sleeping arrangements last minute.
Second, the food wasn't a reliable option with little kids. If it were just my husband and myself we would have been fine, but depending on someone else to bring food at a certain time is not really a good thing with little ones. Luckily, we were prepared enough to feed our 2 year old before nap time and our 4 year old waited it out like a champ, but our lunch arrived almost 3 hours after the requested time and was far from what was described to us the day before. We had a very strange encounter with the owner regarding the breakfast that morning, too. I'd read the other reviews ahead of booking, so it just wasn't what we were expecting.
Last, the shower is practically unusable, even for an adult. The owners are aware of the issue and I believe they'll modify it in the future, but it's impossible to shower without getting the entire bathroom, including the toilet and the floor, absolutely soaked. The main problem with this was that we were supplied 2 large towels and 1 hand towel, even though we had 4 people total. We had to be extremely selective about when to use the towels and drying the floor to make sure no one busted their butt was not ideal. I highly recommend bringing extra towels if you stay more than 1 night, even if you're just a single person.
I recommend the cabin for the property. It was a nice stay and we enjoyed lighting the fire each night and playing games on the cabin floor. It's newly renovated, so everything is still fairly clean. We appreciated being able to bring our dog and let her roam around. We were close enough to Montgomery and Conroe to get out and grab food or groceries easily.
I would not personally recommend choosing this cabin for the B&B experience described in some of the reviews. We did not have a positive experience with that aspect. We still enjoyed plenty of family time at the cabin.
The cabin is extremely well kept. The decor was country chic with so much attention to details. The history of the cabin was an added touch that we enjoyed knowing. The hosts were fantastic and very responsive to our questions /needs. All in all, I would highly recommend this property.
Booked this for my family/friends to come and have a socially distanced event for my Aunt who was coming in for medical treatment. Kellie and Damo helped with food, places to see in the area, even got us a cake for my Aunt. I wish that I could give 10 stars! This tops ALL of my other small BnB locations that I've booked in the past. I truly can't thank them enough for all the help. Our family is so very thankful to have met you and we WILL be back for RenFest!
Are family had a relaxing fun stay it was clean beautiful little house. Property Owners provides delicious breakfast lunch dinner and s’more...it was perfect! We are planning to stay here again and again. Next time we’ll be bringing are Pug Maggie
Cozy cabin in a great location, with the best hosts you could ever ask for
I would give this listing 100 stars if I could. The cabin itself is very cute and cozy, with tons of added perks on property: porch swing, tree swing, fire pit, horse shoes and lawn Yahtzee just to name a few. It is clean and updated, making our stay even more comfortable. Cleanliness and sanitation are incredibly important to Kelli, especially during these times. It made us feel very safe.
What really made our weekend was our host, Kelli. She is so kind and thinks of your every need. Trust me when I say to take advantage of the opportunity to add on meals. Warm, homemade biscuits and jams are provided as a courtesy (hand delivered warm by Kelli herself), but you can add on extras like omelets or breakfast meats for a small charge. We also ordered a picnic lunch one day and met me tell you- there was nothing she didn’t think of. Sandwiches, assorted chips, fruit, cheese, nuts, cloth napkins, cutlery- EVERYTHING you could want or need. Our last day Kelli’s husband brought over some of the best bbq I’ve ever had, simply just because. Amazing people.
I could go on and on, but I’ll leave you with this. This was the best experience from top to bottom that I’ve ever had. Thank you, Kelli for making it so special.
