"The first room had such a strong mildew smell it set off my allergies. When I mentioned it to the front desk they moved us into another room that smelt fine until we turned on the air conditioner at which point the same odor as the previous room was there. By the time I canceled my reservation (30mins) I was so congested I couldn't breath through my nose. We still had to pay the the night even tho we left within 45min of our check-in. We booked another hotel last minute as we didn't have any other options. On a side note, the booking name and the hotel name are different and it looks to be in disrepair or changing brands of hotel. Unless your in a very tight budget I would recommend a hotel in Conroe center or magnolia instead"

"My family and I enjoyed our stay, The house, pool, hot tub and deck was clean, there was enough chairs outside for everyone, the house was big enough for the family. The kitchen was awesome it had everything you needed to cook with, even a coffee pot . Communication with the host was outstanding. he answered all questions in a timely manner. We plan on trying to book it again for my next birthday 2027. You will enjoy your stayDidn’t catch any fish there, but that was ok, I just relaxed and enjoyed the outside, the water and the quiet time, NO noise, cars or traffic. It was wonderful loved it, a great place to just relax and take a vacation"
