• Head off to Syracuse for an excellent sightseeing adventure. Around 100 miles from Amsterdam, it has loads of cool attractions such as Museum of Science and Technology.
• Located 100 miles away, Springfield is also popular with wanderers. Be sure to take in Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this city.
• Visit Mount Washington State Park to reconnect with nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just chill out in the fresh air. From Amsterdam, it's about 170 miles away.
