We had a wonderful stay at Albergo Firenze in Lake Como. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. Excellent location.

A very well located hotel, in the center of Como and offering an easy parking option 5 min walk from the hotel at a small fee. Staff was adorable and breakfast was the best we had during our trip. Everything was super tasty ! Our room had all the necessary amenities but bathroom might need some refresh.

Albergo Firenze is a pleasant and friendly hotel. The double-room I stayed in was clean and satisfactory, if not rather basic. The bathroom was modern, clean and well-kept - something that's highly important for me. If you're spending plenty of time exploring the wonderful sights of Lake Como, the room should be adequate. Luxurious it is not, but it was fine for me. Breakfast is a continental one with plenty of choice, and friendly attentive staff. The dining room has lovely views over Piazza Volta. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The hotel is also perfectly located, right in the centre of Como, and virtually bang in front of the Lake - which is simply breathtaking when you first see it. Despite it's location in the piazza, it was surprisingly quiet and perfect for exploring the area. The ferry for Bellagio is a two minute walk from the hotel. Getting to the hotel from Como St Giovanni station is a short 5-7 min walk. Also close by is the other station Como Lago Nord. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Albergo Firenze and would recommend it.

We loved the Albergo Firenze. The room was clean and well appointed and the view from the balcony was fabulous. The rooms were immaculate and the staff excellent. Would stay again.

A wonderful hotel in a fabulous location, surrounded by nice restaurants and only a block from the lake. Easy walk to the ferries and funicular as well as the train stations.

Property was relatively clean but dilapidated. The room was clean but decor a bit depressing. Aside from the toilet ‘s running water - the bathroom was modern- no complaints. The air-conditioning did not work even after the receptionist set it correctly. Hot and no ventilation in room. The breakfast needs lots to be desired. Coffee was terrible- bread was not very good. The rest seemed ok but nit great. One of the receptionist was surprisingly incompetent! When I asked him a few questions … he told me to look them up myself on my phone!!??!? Another young receptionist seemed new and had to ask others for answers like: where the train station was etc… The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is its excellent location. That's about all.

Great place to stay right in the centre of Como close to the ferry ticket office (150 metres) and about 400 metres level walk from the train station we arrived at Lake Como. We left from San Giovanni station about 600 meters the other way and reasonably flat until you get to the last set of stairs to take you to the station. It didn't seem to have a lot of taxis around Como. We only really needed them for getting to San Giovani station. The hotel is central with lots 'of dining options. The staff are helpful. The breakfast included was good.

The staff on the reception were friendly, helpful and always courteous. The room we had was lovely - plenty of space for everything and a lovely bathroom. Great location as it is right in the middle of como and in the pain square - can be loud some evenings but the hotel windows kept much of the sound out.

The property was great. The staff was helpful and very courteous. We booked a standard room and they were able to upgrade us to superior room which was great. The room was pretty spacious as well. Super short walk to the waterfront and to the duomo. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel and pretty easy to get anywhere in Como from there. Would stay there again!
