"Very friendly staff. Quiet older motel with clean comfortable beds, Room could have used a bigger bath mat and more towels…only two sets in the double room.Great size fridge and a small microwave for use. TV was small but worked fine with a good selection of channels. The Wifi was a bit slow but we were able to operate our devices. The floor could have had a little more attention paid to the cleaning in the corners of bathroom, but otherwise a good stay. Thank you!"

"I love the Comfort Inn. For me, it's the beds. The mattresses are firm and the pillows are perfect. They don't smell of detergent (I have sensitivities to fragrances). They smell fresh. The staff is always welcoming and professional. And, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg."

"Great place to stay. Staff was helpful and courteous and the room was great, lots of room and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered the night before and warmed up in the room something that takes a little getting used to. Close to Callander and only 10 minutes to North Bay for shopping and restaurants. All in all, a great place to stay to enjoy the area."

"Beautiful cabin and property. Glass door wood stove kept the entire place warm and was romantic. Excellent fishing and swimming spot. Loads of privacy. I recommend renting the boat in cooler weather but paddling in would not be hard in good weather. Large screen porch and screen room at water were great. Lots of firewood to be found. Plan for an off grid experience with the comfort of a gorgeous cabin. The hosts were some of the nicest people I have ever talked to and were very accommodating. I recommend speaking to them directly. Loved this place!"

"I booked a surprise getaway for my husband and I - and we have officially found our new yearly place to stay at! Booking with John was so smooth. His property is beautiful, quiet but yet with so many things you can do. The views from the docks were breathtaking. We laid in the hammock, enjoying the sun and the fall colours across the lake and read a book. At night we started the woodstove, cuddled up and enjoyed a movie. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook every meal. John was also phenomenal at communicating, and answered any question we had. We look forward coming back next year with our family."
