Welcome to our newly built home! This house was built from the ground up in 2024 and is just a couple minutes’ drive away from all the fun stuffs Columbus has to offer; restaurants, shopping centers, hospitals, bars and amazing nightlife. This tranquil house features 3 queen beds and 1 bunk bed, perfect for families or groups of friends. Whether you are coming to Columbus for a meeting, event, vacation, to catch an Ohio State University game or explore the city, this home will provide you with a good sleep experience. Relax, and enjoy everything Columbus and our house has to offer. Our house easily sleeps 12 guests and is just 6 miles (10 min drive) from John Glenn Columbus Intl. Airport (CMH).

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. The house was clean and roomy, as described! 12 of us stayed while attending a convention at Greater Columbus Convention Center and we had ample space. Very well appointed kitchen. Nice to have a garage. It appeared the area was enjoying some gentrification. We less than 10 minutes from GCCC and all the restaurants available downtown. A very enjoyable stay, clean, room house and great location and price. Thank you!!

Comfortable home with plenty of space

The house was great. Plenty of room to hang out and plenty of room in the bedrooms. It had some basics that other VRBO’s don’t always have. Shampoo, conditioner, soaps, plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, ice packs, etc.

We had a few issues during our stay, but Claude was very responsive and handled them right away. No early check-in allowed. The house was built for VRBO purposes only, so it was very clean and new. However missing a few things that you’d need if you actually lived there. The neighborhood was not nice, but the house itself was nice.
