We enjoyed our stay in this cozy home! It was in a great location to walk or catch the shuttle into downtown Manitou Springs, comfortable king-size beds, well-stocked kitchen, and relaxing living room! We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
Great location to town and activities. Close to free shuttle to the mountain and Incline. Walking distance to a hot springs spa and to downtown Manitou for shopping, coffee and dining options.
Well stocked for all your needs. Clean and comfortable with private back patio. Close to the cute little town of Manitou Springs and near so many attractions.
Fantastic little house that felt like home! Backed up to the cliff, it was quiet and comfy. The hosts were amazing and quick to answer any questions and take care of any needs. Close to downtown and easy to find. Highly recommend!
Perfect little house and absolutely amazing location close to downtown Manitou Springs. Probably a 5-10 minute walk to get into the area with the shops and eating places! Very clean and had everything we needed, loved that we had a driveway to park in since parking is so limited and expensive down there. 10/10, would definitely stay again!
Very convenient location to many beautiful views and adventures. House looks like pictures. Had 1 minor problem with the power, but it was acknowledged and taken care of immediately. One morning we had a visit from 2 huge mule deer bucks in the front yard! Loved our stay!
We enjoyed our stay here. The house was as advertised. Things were neat and clean. Communication with the hosts was easy. It was a great location for doing things around Manitou- Cog Railway, Incline (though we just explored it, didn’t climb). Parking there was very limited
We rented unit 1 last weekend and we found it to be an old Colorado home with historic charm and modern amenities. It’s tucked into the side of a mountain and the backyard is steep but pretty with all the red rocks and view of the Manitou Incline. The house was well-stocked and towels were soft and fluffy. It’s a short walk (or quick drive) to the southern entrance of Garden of the Gods and super easy to get to downtown Manitou Springs and all the little shops and restaurants.
Very clean home with comfortable furnishings within easy walking distance to downtown Manitou Springs and hiking trails. Thought it was a stand-alone house offering quiet and privacy but upon check-in learned there was a basement unit occupied by other guests and significant noise transmission between the two units. I would have appreciated having this disclosed beforehand as I would have chosen a more private rental.
Very cute place. Extremely clean. The place was larger than I expected as well. We appreciated the convenience to downtown and walked there several times. My one complaint may be something completely outside the host’s control - there is very little sound separation between the upper VRBO unit and the basement unit. We had our 1 year old with us who woke up at 7:30am and started doing toddler things (running around, asking for breakfast) and we heard the downstairs occupant yelling and cursing at us that he was trying to sleep. It made for an awkward stay the rest of the time! So may not recommend this unit if you have little ones!
Overall 5 stars and the communication with management was excellent. I do want to mention that there is a basement rental unit below this house. I did not see that listed anywhere in the description prior to booking this for the week. My wife and I found out by hearing a loud screaming argument from below our feet. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and couldn’t ask for better proximity to everything and management responded quickly to our questions. When we plan our next trip to Manitou Springs we will book the house and the basement unit at the same time to avoid that mishap.
We picked the perfect house for the week. It had everything we needed. The house had a fantastic water heater. They even provided a food and water bowl for my dog. Everything we wanted to do was within 5-10 min drive. I especially loved the walking trail with a stream right across the street. We saw deer in the backyard everyday. The host checked in to see if we had everything we needed. We are very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
