Our stay was great. Lots of room on a quiet lot. Lots of wildlife in the area. A black bear walked past while we were having dinner one evening! What fun to see that. Housekeeping could be improved. We cleaned bathrooms and floors upon arrival.

It was a large spacious and beautiful cabin. Great for a family stay.
The cabin was not well cleaned. We were constantly cleaning throughout the week. Pet hair on sheets, blankets.
Would recommend getting a deep clean hired out and thorough weekly cleaning for your guests to enjoy a tidy and clean space!
Great stay. Overall great experience. Close to town shops. The pull out beds were typical uncomfortable springs as well as one of the king beds was rather uncomfortable. We did have a lot of people do this wouldn’t have been a factor for smaller groups. The delay on water cistern refill was a slight inconvenience and out of the owners control. The owner was easy to communicate with as a whole.
We loved the layout of the house and the rooms. But there were layers of dust everywhere, and when we ran a Clorox down the railing leading to the downstairs, it was totally brown. The stairs leading down to the basement were filthy, hadn't been vacuumed in who knows how long. Robyn the host was very responsive.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The home is charming, spacious, and in a great location for exploring Woodland Park. It had plenty of room for our group, and we appreciated how convenient it was to everything in town.During our stay, we experienced a few housekeeping and maintenance issues, including bathrooms and some kitchen items that had not been fully cleaned before our arrival, a few cookware items that were no longer usable, and a couple of maintenance concerns that we reported to the host during our stay. I also couldn’t locate a fire extinguisher, which I feel would be a valuable addition for guest safety, especially with the outdoor grill. The host was made aware of these items during our stay, and I wanted to include them here so future guests have a complete picture of our experience. Despite these concerns, we enjoyed the property's location, space, and overall charm. With a little more attention to housekeeping and routine maintenance, this would be an excellent place to stay.
The house was clean, warm and welcoming. The property has a beautiful view from the wrap around porch. The host was very nice and accommodating. Our family enjoyed staying at this property.
The house was amazing. Thank you for an amazing trip!

Wonderful place to stay.
We spent Thanksgiving here with family and really enjoyed ourselves. We liked the number of bedrooms and also the large living room that had more than 1 place to gather in a group depending on what you wanted to do. We will be back!
The group loved the cabin and great area. Plenty of room to relax, spread out, and enjoy the mountains while being with friends. The cabin was clean, roomy and comfy. Robyn was a great host. Definitely will be back.

Excellent time
There was plenty of room for our group. It was clean and well kept. Thank you for a great weekend!
Everything was great. There is limited water supply that we didn't know about, but once we got that figured out, it was manageable. Being from the city, we don't have limited water usage- so it really helps put things into perspective..
The location was perfect. The house had a wonderful layout for a large group like ours. The decor was charming. However, it was not very clean. Things were sticky, upstairs bathroom tub was gross. The pull-out sofa bed in the basement had mouse droppings on it and sounded like mice were either inside or under the couch/bed. Another basement bedroom had sheets that were covered with what looked like dead fleas and there was a strong smell of urine on the floor. The wrap around deck is in great need of upkeep. The boards are rotten, the railing was loose, and we did not feel like it was safe to be on.

Big home
Our group of 12 stayed here July 4th. We fit easily. The adjustable beds were a blessing. The LARGE living area and kitchen were a nice hang out. There is no a/c here, but we didn't really need it...it just didn't get that hot (maybe only 1 afternoon). Owner was helpful and went above and beyond to meet our needs. I appreciate Robyn's efforts. This location is 1 min. from Charis Bible College - if you are going there. It was so convenient.
It is a lovely property. If you are looking for a party house this is it. It has obviously been used for parties by the smell of beer cigarettes and other unknown odors. If you don't mind old & thread bare linens and 10 year old towels you will love it. In addition, be prepared to clean and disinfect before you sit down & for sure don't lay on the beds. If you are allergic to pets you should reconsider because there is dog hair everywhere including the bed upstairs. We paid for 2 nights but only stayed the first night and ended up at the Wyndham down the road because I could not breath. I am not a snob and have stayed at some funky places around the world but nothing like this.
Spacious cabin, great for a big crew. Overall, great bang for byck.
Lots of space for our large family visiting the area. We loved the layout and there were more than enough sleeping accomodations. Pretty clean but had a few areas that looked like it could use a deep clean (ie. kitchen ceiling fan). Wonderful living room area and great TV. The cabin was a little dark with some bulbs out. Loved all the windows and the view of the beautiful aspen trees and mountains in the distance. Kitchen and dining was ideal for a big group. It was nice to stay in the mountains and away from the city while still feeling pretty close to everything (15-45 min drives). The owner was easy to reach and very responsive to any questions or needs. It may not be a luxury home, but is probably why it is reasonably priced. I feel it was a good value and overall great experience. Would definitely select this again if the occasion were to arise.
Nearly died of smoke inhalation and no heat or power. Had to buy an extension cord for a heater and run it to another area with a better breaker. We were limited on showers and no way to check water level. The owner said to start the wood stove for heat. It was plugged so smoke all over the house. Cooking range smelled like cat urine when we started it for our Christmas dinner. All the owner kept saying she was sorry and never offered a refund even when we asked her several time
The owner is very, very nice and quick to communicate with you on anything you need and even gave us suggestions for things to see and places to eat. My family (myself, husband, two teenage daughters, and my dad) stayed for four nights. We were very comfortable with all of us having large bedrooms with comfortable beds to stay in. The living room and kitchen are very large and updated and we were able to spread out but still be together. The morning view of the sunrise over the mountains through her aspen and pine trees is something I’ll remember forever. There are a few more negative reviews here. I’m here to say that we had a great time and we’re comfortable!! One note is that you do have to watch your water usage. We did not have any issue with this and we have teenage daughters who love a good shower. Some people might find this a hinderance but we did not. This home was lovely for our vacation to Colorado Springs. We enjoyed the 20 minute drive to Manitou Springs (where the majority of tourist attractions are). It was refreshing to go back to a quiet, cute town each evening. Thank you Robyn for a lovely stay!
