  • Our spacious craftsman has a large lot with a long driveway and street parking. The home is newly remodeled with a beautiful open concept living room and kitchen. Two bedrooms with queen beds are upstairs while the basement holds the laundry area, a large family room and the main bedroom with two twin beds.

My two adult kids and I were in town for a wedding. The house was much cheaper than hotel rooms and was the obvious pick of the available rentals.We loved the house, the decorating and proximity. I would definitely recommend the house.

The home was clean and welcoming. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jami, our host, was fast to respond and provided good directions for check-ins and check-outs. The only thing was that you couldn’t shower at the same time doing laundry. But overall, it was still a very good value and worth our stay.

The home was charming, very clean and every convenience thought of. The neighborhood was nice and the perfect launching spot for adventures in the day and hanging out by the forepit in the evening. Jami was very responsive and check in and check out were a breeze. We can't wait to come back!

Our family had a great stay here! Really cute house with everything we needed. Location is great - close to Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City. Communication with host was great. Would absolutely stay again!

Spring Break

Excellent house and location for a college spring break group. Kitchen had all of the amenities needed to cook and serve meals and we had a good cookout on the back deck.

Excellent Home and Host

Host was very welcoming and helpful. We’ve stayed in a lot of homes over the years, but this one was by far the best stocked with various amenities that made our stay very comfortable.

Wonderful!

I don't think the photos do this house justice! It was beautiful, there was plenty of room for us, and the location is incredible! It's right off the highway so a short drive to downtown or a short jaunt to Manitou Springs/Garden of the Gods. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Old Colorado City! What a beautiful house with room enough for our family of 6! The house was extremely clean and beautiful inside. The neighborhood is so close to lots of hikes and stores. We would recommend this property!!

Terrific house with great access to Colorado Springs highlights

Our family loved staying at this place. The house was wonderfully updated with so many great attention-to-details amenities to make a home for a few days. It was very clean upon check-in; the entry code process worked great. We really enjoy sitting outside on the porch swing in the evening to share some drinks. Our family was interested in getting into the mountains and hiking on this trip, and this house had great access to Pike's Peak and to other mountain roads. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Home away from Home

The house is in a perfect location, within a few miles of Manitou Springs and skipping distance to Old Colorado City. The host anticipated all of our needs and was very responsive when we had questions. The house was like a home away from home. The street was quiet and I even saw two deer walking down the street one morning. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. This was our first experience renting a house and would do it again based on our stay.

Best vacation rental!

This property was everything we could have hoped for! It was centrally located, within 5-15 minutes of almost everything we wanted to do in Colorado Springs, but still in a nice, safe, walkable neighborhood. It’s obvious that a lot of thought went into the planning of this house. The furniture was comfortable, the house was spotless, and there was more than enough room for our family of four to spread out. The host was responsive and super friendly. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. This was by far the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at this comfortable home in Colorado Springs! We were 3 ladies in town to hike the Manitou Incline, & this property was the perfect base for our trip.The house was clean & felt very welcoming. The host thought of everything — from Q-tips, hand sanitizer, & wipes to laundry supplies, baggies, seran wrap/foil in the kitchen. We loved the thoughtful snack basket & fantastic coffee bar w/ a variety of coffees, teas, & flavorings — it made starting our mornings nice before heading out on hikes.The programmed door lock was easy for coming & going. Parking on the side driveway was convenient to both doors, & the front porch swing/chairs became our favorite spot to relax & enjoy the Colorado weather. The living room’s comfortable L-shaped couch was nice for unwinding after hikes.The beds had soft linens (sheets) with a more firm feel (great for bad backs). We only used the downstairs for laundry, but it was spacious, clean, & has two cute twin beds. The home can sleep up to 6 comfortably, though it has just 1 bathroom — which was fine for us 3 since we knew ahead of time. The neighborhood is quiet & friendly. We enjoyed chatting with dog walkers from the porch & people even said hello when walking by. Everything seemed just a quick 10–20 minute drive away, with the Manitou Incline only about 10 minutes (or less) in the early morning.Our host Jami was very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

Charming Cucharras Christmas

What a wonderful place for us to spend our first Christmas in the Springs since our sons moved there. From the moment we opened the front door into the cozy holiday vibe with a Christmas tree, soft holiday themed throws and quilts on the beds, to the festive table cloth and an impressive picture of Santa Claus in the corner looking over our festivities, it was in a word Magical. We had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was there and then some. We even received a handmade ornament from Jami with our family name and Christmas 2024! Would recommend this home for any time of year but this was special! We will be back again as soon as we can. If you're planning a trip and want to be close to Old Colorado City and Downtown in a quaint neighborhood, with a wonderful home for a family or friends, this is it!!!

Family trip to Colorado

This house was perfect for our trip to Colorado. My husband and I flew my parents out to CO for their first time and this place couldn’t have have been any better. The location was central to everything we wanted to do, but it was nestled into a quiet little neighborhood. There was a long driveway so we were able to park the car off the road which was nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils, pots/pans, and dinnerware. The bathroom was bright and modern. There was a lovely coffee and tea bar. We spent nights in the front porch or in the back yard by the fire place. The layout of the house was open and spacious so we didn’t feel like we were all on top of each other. My family commented multiple times about how perfect this place was for our trip. Communicating with the hosts was simple and fast. They had a fantastic binder on the counter waiting for us with recommendations for local restaurants etc. they had brochures for a lot of local attractions as well. It made our trip so much more enjoyable having a wonderful place like this to call home for the week
