Colonia Independencia Holidays from £1,105

I have been to "all-inclusives" as well as just boutique hotels. I understand both benefits. I won't come back here. $10 bottles of water, overpriced food. I was nickel and dimed for everything. The mini fridge was stuffed so full of $5-$20 drinks that we just took their stuff out and put it back at the end of the week. The shower curtain fell down on the first day, (they promptly fixed it). The chairs in the room were so uncomfortable that they literally could not be used for more than a few minutes. There was a "do not disturb" sign was a couple of yarn knots on a string, that everyone ignored. One day the bartender came knocking because the $20 I paid with had a teeny tiny ink mark on it. The other days we were disturbed by a woman checking to see if the art work on the walls was still there. The spa was good, the food was good, (service sucks), and the pools were great. I won't stay here again. All n all, I'd say for the money, go to "Dreams" or "Secrets". It's a couple hundred more, but it'll be cheaper on the back end. It was just weird.

It was a time share hotel. The other pool that was not the preferred pool was a lot more fun then the preferred one. The buffet was just nasty. The restaurant by the pier was definitely the best place to eat. The drinks were good all around. Our shower flooded the restroom. The room above us also leaked down our shower wall. Never used room service so I can’t speak on that. The weight staff and waitresses were actually pretty good everywhere we went. We did get good service on cleaning our room every day. I can’t remember the name of the restaurant by the other pool in the back of the resort, but it was actually good too. Entertainment not so much. I do not drink coffee, but my husband does and he loved the coffee shop.

Perfect just the mosquitos

This is an incredibly beautiful hotel in the heart of Cozumel. The owner has literally thought of everything when designing it. The rooms are spacious and are decorated as an upscale hotel. The rooms are well thought out and have a beautifully tiled walk in rain shower for the ultimate in relaxation. The roof has an infinity pool overlooking the water. So much fun to watch the cruise ships coming in and out of port. The staff are very friendly and accommodating! Book your room today you won’t regret ur! ❤️
