Stingray Beach

We had a wonderful stay, everyone was very attentive and friendly. Staff always greeted us with pleasure and had helpful recommendations on activities and restaurants on the island. The drinks were incredible, the front desk was super helpful! They helped get us taxis and always answered all of our questions. Unfortunately the only upsetting thing was the food, we tried 3 restaurants that the resort had to offer and the food very much tasted like “cafeteria food”, just very poor quality. This forced us to leave the resort to eat elsewhere. But everything else was a 10/10.

I just came back from this trip and it was amazing 😍 we wished we could stay more days, the staff is amazing, the propertyis well maintain and beautiful. We will definitely come back to occidental!

Gorgeous property brimming with greenery, flowers and wildlife! Loved the bungalow style rooms so much better than a high rise style resort! Drinks were good, food was mostly ok, the buffet got a little tedious by the end of our stay. The beach was too choppy for most of our trip but the pool was sparkling perfect so that made up for it. The pool was big enough that even when it was busiest midday it never felt crowded. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!
