7/10 Good! (1,181 reviews)
Terrible hotel. Half the property is being remodeled and so construction everywhere. Staff not friendly like other resorts we have stayed at in the Riviera Maya. We didn't have running water in our room for half a day. Food was below average and the buffet was small and terrible. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

8.2/10 Very good! (1,184 reviews)
Positive: Staff is helpful and friendly, rooms are clean. Location is ideal for boat pickups to go diving BUT
Negative: Second year in a row that I get food poisoning from their buffet, which really ruins a vacation. I will not going back or try another all-inclusive, it's just too risky. The other thing I found particularly irritating is the "dock fee" that you "have to pay" (cash, no receipt of course) when a dive boat other than their Pro Dive boat picks you up. It's not the 100 pesos (roughly US $5) per day, it's the principle. I didn't see them charge tourists boarding a snorkelers' boat. Won't be coming back.

"While we enjoyed the overall resort grounds and found the food quality to be good, several significant service and logistical issues severely impacted our experience.
