"We stayed here for my sisters hen do and had the best time! The house was great (although you could use some more mirrors around the place but us girls made it work 😂). The secret garden was a nice place for sunset drinks and there’s a bigger field we were able to use for laser clay pigeon shooting! The grounds are beautiful. "The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. However, 2 things let it down.... the doors didn't close properly, and for me the biggest one was no wifi. Its listed as available but I could'nt get it to work, that combined with poor mobile signal made it difficult to make arrangements with family locally. Very nice non the less."

"A lovely historic end of terrace house and garden, as shown in its picture. We'd assumed that several homes were pictured, but this is all the destination. The interior is packed with vintage and antique objects so young children or dogs must be careful."

"We chose this property for its location and the number of en suite facilities. In that respect it was brilliant. The communication from the owner was also very good with a great response to our request to rectify the lack of cutlery. However, the cleanliness of the house needs to be addressed. There was dirty laundry left in the understairs cupboard and most of the kitchen cupboard were "sticky". The front bedroom had a faint whif of cigarette smoke and all the duvets were just a little too...

"We booked the week away at the last minute, and had a wonderful relaxing week staying at the Coach House. Fiona and Matthew were great hosts, and were really hospitable. Nothing was to much for them to ensure we had a perfect stay. Our two dogs were also made to feel at home, which was great. The area is great for walking and we especially loved the canal and picturesque walks. Great local pubs serving good food, There are lots of pretty villages to visit and we would recommend Castle...
