Casa Familiar Rodeada de Viñedos, con Piscina y Sala de Juegos

"Wij hebben hier twee weken verbleven met een gezelschap van negen personen, waaronder drie kinderen, en hebben werkelijk een geweldige vakantie gehad.Het huis is ruim, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Met vijf slaapkamers, elf bedden en twee badkamers hadden we meer dan genoeg ruimte om met een grote groep samen te zijn, zonder voortdurend op elkaars lip te zitten. De airconditioning was tijdens de Spaanse zomer absoluut een pluspunt en ook de dubbele garage was erg prettig.Maar de echte blikvanger is natuurlijk het grote zwembad. Daar is tijdens ons verblijf héél veel gebruik van gemaakt. Het werd al snel het middelpunt van de vakantie: 's ochtends even het water in, na een uitstapje afkoelen en aan het einde van de dag nog uren zwemmen en ontspannen.De ligging in Can Canals, vlak bij Piera, vonden wij ook erg prettig. Rustig genoeg om echt vakantie te vieren, maar tegelijkertijd een fijne uitvalsbasis om Catalonië te ontdekken. We hebben vanuit hier onder andere Barcelona en Montserrat bezocht, terwijl winkels en voorzieningen gewoon goed bereikbaar zijn.Minstens zo belangrijk: het contact met de host was uitstekend. Vanaf het begin was de communicatie snel, vriendelijk en bijzonder hartelijk. Wanneer we een vraag hadden, kregen we snel antwoord en er werd prettig met ons meegedacht. Dat geeft tijdens een verblijf toch net dat beetje extra vertrouwen en gastvrijheid.Na twee weken voelde"

"The room was clean and everything was in good shape. There didn’t seem to be much available besides our room and an outdoor seating area—no lounge or cafe; restaurant shuts after lunch. Breakfast is available but isn’t served till 9:00 am on Sundays. While the hotel is in an industrial area of the town, it’s within easy (driving) distance of old town Gelida, which has some historic sites and restaurants and was fun to walk around. (We coincided with the 4-day August festival which was very lively—fire breathing dragon, music, performances.)"

"Chose Masia Can Canyes & Spa for a trip through the Cava region with my senior parents. A little mother-daughter-father getaway. What drew me was how beautiful the property looked online, plus the pool and jacuzzi, which I knew would give my parents a relaxing, low-mobility way to enjoy the stay. The reality exceeded what I expected. It's a family-run property, and the family's warmth is what really made the stay. With just eight rooms, it has an intimate feel, and everyone staying there seemed to pick up on that same friendly energy saying hi to each other, chatting over breakfast etc. This says a lot about the place. Breakfast is included and there's plenty of it. My mom loves milk, and at one point the manager/owner actually went out to the shop to get extra for her. It's those small touches that make you feel genuinely looked after. Dinner at their restaurant is a must. I'd suggest eating there at least one night just to eat in the cellar. Their recommendation of the Torres winery tour turned out to be accessible-friendly, which put my mom at ease and made her even more excited about exploring Cava region. I seem to visit Spain at least once a year and this is exactly where I'll stay again. A big thank you to the family who made us feel like part of theirs."
