Plumbing issue
When we checked in we were told the master bathroom toilet wasn’t working. We had to be gone for the day while it was fixed. It was an inconvenience! The manager Kathy was very kind in communicating the problem.

Loved my stay here!
My family and I stayed in Cocoa Beach and loved this condo. It was very spacious, the balcony is a cool spot to hang, and is located in a nice, centric part of town - close to everything we had planned to do! Beach access was also a plus. I would stay here again

Great condo and great location. The view is amazing. Loved being able to hear the ocean at night with the windows open. Condo needs some updating. Master bathroom vanity on the ground is damaged. Was peeling paint in the condo. A couple nights there were a few small ants in the counter. Think they were coming up from a crack on the counter. Can see screws in the ceiling. Easy access to the beach, but did not know we needed a key for the gate. Not the condo owners issue, but there was dog feces on the ground, near the elevator. Texted building manager as their number was listed. They said they’d contact someone, but feces was still there a day later. Never used pool or hot tub, but looked nice. Felt safe. Condo was very clean. Just need to fix some of the things mentioned above. Would definitely stay again though!

Relaxing Beach Time!
We were able to have a lot of beach time, the beach in front of the condo was covered by a public life guard during the day, a plus. There was a night launch of SpaceX falcon 9 which was exciting to see from our balcony. This place was close to several restaurants and shopping. The place was clean and as described. There is construction going on so you need to be careful but it didn’t dampen the stay. I recommend this condo.

Good but had issues
The place was very nice. It had been updated so i loved the decor. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. There were just a couple issues. One, they had ants in the kitchen. I have to deal with that at home during the summer and did not want to deal with it on vacation. The property manager was very nice and helpful. She came up and tried her best to deal with them. The second issue was the a/c unit. The sir worked but the thermostat on the wall was loose and the air would stop working and we would have to fidget with it to get it to come back on. I informed the property manager so she could tell the owner. Hopefully, they got it fixed for the other guests. Other than that, it was quiet, beautiful view especially of the launch pad. We were supposed to see the rocket launch, but weather kept delaying it but if your ever there when a launch is going off, you have a perfect view from the balcony. Also, the view from the king bedroom was beautiful! I could sit in bed and stare at the ocean. I do miss that view. Would i stay again? Yes i would.

We loved how close the property was to the beach, you also have private beach access which is great as the beach everywhere else is pretty busy. We had an overall great stay with a few hiccups. There was no dishwasher installed in the unit, both bathroom tubs were moldy and dirty. Everything else was great.

Excellent Place!
Everything about the stay was excellent from the communication from the owner, the accuracy of the description of the unit, the reservation process, the check-in details, the unit itself which was clean and stocked for a perfect home away from home, the walking distance to the beach with the gorgeous view from the balcony, the grounds, and check-out process. I have only positive things to say about the rental and appreciate the opportunity to use it during our vacation.

We loved the property, our only complaint was it was hot in the short elevator ride. We loved everything about our condo and really did not want to go home! I recommend the local restaurants, not any fast food places (employees were terribly rude). The beach was great and it was a great experience as our first trip to the ocean!

View from unit is excellent and very easy to get onto beach. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Layout of unit is great for 4 adults. That said, unit is older and in great need of updating. Unit was not that clean upon arrival - kitchen rug still dirty and absolutely no smell of any cleanser having been used on the unit. All rugs are dirty looking. Master bath vanity in very poor condition. Old kitchen appliances. Unit has been used hard. Would stay at Sandcastles again but in a different unit.

Just the getaway we needed!
The location of this property was phenomenal. We were looking for a quiet spot on a beautiful beach and this was it. The rental and check in process was easy and everything was found to be just as described. A bit of updating to the dressers would be great as many in the guest room were unusable. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay.

Great amenities but the condo was dated. Older linens older flooring, tiles in shower falling apart, paint and plaster on the ceiling cracked and falling down. The condo was clean, needs some updates. TV in master bedroom didn’t work. Lots of towels and beach toys which was a huge bonus! Time was spent doing activities and not in the condo so it fit our needs!

Wonderful relaxing time
We stayed just for a short vacation (Thursday - Monday) we had a wonderful time and the location was perfect for a relaxing time. Close to stores, close to restaurants. The building itself was well maintained and 100% clean. It was quiet and peaceful. We will be returning to this location.

It doesnt cost thousands to make a place look Good!!
The property is a little run down. Base boards falling off walls. Base boards separating from walls. Pictures on wall were crooked. Looked like an earth quake hit the place. Its a shame, because with a little T.L.C. the place could really look sharp. First impressions are everything, no matter what business your in. Great Views!!!!!

Very clean, great location, access to beach & restaurants. We were able to view missile launch from the balcony after lift off. one of the exciting moments of our trip. Condo was clean & centrally located to several points in Cocoa Beach. We will have no problem returning for another stay.

Clean, spacious, and great location. We really enjoyed our stay and great price for what you get with this condo. For this location non the beach it is one of the better and more affordable prices for a condo in Cocoa Beach. This is my hometown and we come every year for the summer. I will definitely think about renting this condo unit again next year! Thank you for the great stay!!

Comfy condo on a beautiful beach
Beautiful beach and property. Condo was clean and spacious and the beach is really well maintained. The only thing that would have made it even better, would have been having newer pots and pans and especially a griddle for breakfast! We made due, but was somewhat difficult, as we like to cook big meals when on vacation. Nice supply of dishes though. All in all, a fabulous experience and would definitely return!

Nice condo and location
So - we love Cocoa Beach. I grew up here and now bring my family back every year to visit family and friends and to enjoy the Space Coast and all that it has to offer. This year I got a late start in reservations so my normal condos were not available for the time slot I had available. We've stayed at Sandcastles before and like the place and the location. This condo has a nice "corner" view of the ocean - I normally really like the ocean direct, but this was a good compromise, and we could still hear the ocean at night with the windows open. The condo is spacious enough for my family (5 of us in total) with all the amenities you'd expect - nice TV in the living room, TV in both bedrooms. There were a few things which made it not as nice as some places I've stayed - which may or may not be important to you. The kitchen seemed a hodge-podge of appliances - the refrigerator was missing the inside door rails which really minimized its capacity. The ice maker worked but didn't have the right bin in it, so if you didn't monitor it would overflow into the freezer. There were small ants which appeared anytime food was left out (we learned that very quickly). Many of the drawers in the bathrooms and bedrooms weren't on "slides" and were fairly non-functional. But it has a nice master closet, a "toy closet" with beach goodies left by others which are useful. All in all, a nice place in a nice location. Not as updated as some, but a good value!

The location of the condo was great but the listing was a bit misleading.the pictures made it look nicer than it was. The kitchen and bathrooms were falling apart and needed a remodel. There was rust around the fixtures in the bathrooms and a questionable mold spot on master bedroom ceiling. The worst part was it smelled like cigarettes when we walked in and the cleaning people covered it with air freshener. Not exactly what we wanted to smell when we walked in the door. Also the contract states that you can’t turn AC below 75 or it will break and you could get stuck with the bill. That would have been great info to know before signing a contract. It was 90 degrees in October..... 75 in the unit is a bit uncomfortable. I would not return to this unit.

Thanks for staying! We appreciate all feedback from guests and take it very seriously. However, after further investigation, we've found there to be NO mold in the property. This unit was just recently remodeled! New flooring, furniture, and kitchen cabinets. We also have a very strict NO smoking policy in ALL of our units. Excellent accommodations that lived up to our expectations. The elevator went on the fritz twice during our visit, the last happening as we were taking luggage to our car at 6:30am. Those 7 Flites of stairs are not fun to navigate at our age. Don’t feel you people were very responsive to our call for assistance.

Ball Tournament brought us to Cocoa Beach
This property is nicely decorated and suited our families needs. Kitchen has a decent selection of cookware and utensils. If you have a child playing ball at the Space Coast, it is about a 30 minute drive but worth it. We read all the rules and regulations that were sent to us. We were careful to follow the rules but found one of the maintenance men rude. We were using the rinse down facility next to the pool when all of a sudden our water output went to a trickle. Without a word, the maintenance man had shut off the water source we were using to fill up the pool. When asked about the water, his response was I need to fill the pool. Really...it couldn't wait 2 minutes so we weren't tracking sand on the elevator and into our rental. With the title newly remodeled, I would have thought the counters would have been updated. The cleaning crew needs to make sure the washing machine is cleaned between renters to reduce the collection of sand. Also remind the cleaning crew to check shower curtains for mold/mildew. I also live in the south and know the problems humidity causes but I don't want any mildew on shower curtains in the rental I am paying to stay in. Our family liked the $9.99 and under beach souvenir shop and the food at Florida Seafood Bar & Grill is worth the trip. Overall, the space was perfect for the four of us. Our girls loved the fact that their beds weren't twin in the room they shared.

We spent 2 nites in unit 701. Top floor. Great private balcony with ocean view looking north. Very clean and spacious. Everything worked. Pool looked very clean and nice although we didnt use it. Beach is awesome and right around the back. Our unit had a closet that contained all sorts of useful beach accessories including a shade tent and boogie boards and beach chairs. Even a straw type sun hat. There is a wonderful steakhouse right next door where we had a great meal. We had an awesome 2 nite stay and would highly recommend this place.

Great Vacation!
We've stayed in different condos at this location before. We love the area, beach, and pool. Unit was very clean and we enjoyed the beach view from the balcony. Had an issue with the coffee pot - new one is needed as you can't read the buttons. Called for a replacement and it was delivered that Sunday afternoon-only problem it didn't have a basket for the grounds. No problem, we continued to use the old one and it seemed to work ok. We would definitely rent this one again!

Great value. Would stay again. I brought my family to cocoa beach for vacation. This property is in the sand castles condominiums. The condo complex itself is very well maintained, clean, neat, or really. This unit, 701, is extremely spacious. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and dining area. Nice balcony, with views of the ocean looking to the north east. The condo has been recently upgraded with new flooring, new furniture, and well appointed in most areas. The kitchen is in need of renovation, but still very functional and usable. The bathrooms are a little bit dated, and have some wear and tear. Other than that, the condo is beautiful, and the location is great. My kids enjoyed the swimming area. It is very clean, and well-maintained. Beach access is easy, and the beach is spacious and clean. There is no rental umbrella or chair service on the beach. So, you have to provide your own. There are multiple shops around town that will rent umbrellas and other supplies Very affordably. The condo is self-service as far as supplies. So, be prepared to bring your own soap, shampoo, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent,Coffee, coffee filters, etc. The pantry does have a few supplies from other gases that are left over, but best to come prepared. When we got there, the TVs were not working properly. Called the property manager, and he came right over. He got on the phone, investigated with the cable company, and ended up replacing batteries in the remote. He was very attentive and took care of the problem right away. Communications with the property manager were great. There were no issues throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time, and I would come back.

Absolutely beautiful.
Everything went exactly as they said it would. We couldn't have asked for more. The condo was clean, very comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. The view was outstanding. The condo was as presented. Very clean and comfortable. Check in a breeze. Unfortunately we had terrible weather rain every day, very little beach time no need for sunscreen. That's how it is sometimes, I would definitely recommend this condo. We did visit Kennedy Space Center, highly recommended. And no rain there.😀

My family of 3 enjoyed our stay in Cocoa Beach at Dave’s condo. You can tell they have made some updates to the condo, and it is overall very nice. Loved the large balcony and views. Perfect location on the beach, and pool area looked nice (we didn’t have time to use it). My only feedback would be that the sheets/ bedding in the master bedroom could really be replaced. We found them scratchy and pilled. Refrigerator was dated, but worked. Overall for a few hundred dollars they could make just a couple more updates to make it a top notch place to stay.

Some of this review is FALSE. The Sheets/Bedding are NOT SCRATCHY, Refrigerator is NOT DATED, and this unit does NOT need "a couple more updates to make it Top Notch". It already is "Top Notch". But thank you for the 5 stars, we do agree with you on that!

Great location, nice place.
Location was great, right on the beach with an ocean view. Pool and spa were very clean. Location had private beach access and less than 50 yards from the ocean. Manager was very nice. I joked with him about a blinking light outside a room and it was fixed the next day. I would definitely return to this location.
