  • Just a short two-block walk from a quiet, uncrowded beach, this private three-bedroom retreat is designed for families to relax, play and feel completely at home.

    The highlight is your private back deck and fenced yard. Relax together in the swim spa, enjoy the hammocks and fire pit, share a meal at the outdoor table or play horseshoes, Spikeball and other family games. Children have room to play, and dogs can safely enjoy the fenced yard. Nothing in your rental or outdoor area is shared with the neighboring duplex unit.

    Inside, comfortable beds and reclining leather sofas make it easy to settle in. The living room features a large Roku TV and dining space for six. Kids and adults can enjoy the small pool table, board games and classic Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga arcade games.

    The primary bedroom includes a king bed, 55-inch Roku TV, books, USB charging outlets and a massage chair for total relaxation. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and Roku TV. The third bedroom includes a twin trundle bed and pullout sofa, making it a fun and flexible space for children or additional guests.

    The kitchen is equipped for easy family meals and includes a coffee and tea bar and a waffle maker for relaxed vacation mornings.

    We also provide an exceptional collection of complimentary outdoor gear, including cruiser bikes, children’s bikes, six foam surfboards, boogie boards, fishing rods, paddleboards, a single kayak, a two-person kayak and inflatable kayaks. Simple transport systems make it easier to take the equipment two blocks to the ocean or Banana River.

    The beach has no high-rises, only natural dunes, beautiful homes and plenty of room to breathe. The Banana River is also two blocks away, with a nearby dock that is perfect for fishing and enjoying the water. Downtown Cocoa Beach, restaurants, shops and ice cream are just a short drive or bike ride away.

    This home is one private side of a duplex with its own entrance, designated parking, private deck and fully fenced outdoor area. Whether you you spend your days surfing, kayaking and exploring or simply relaxing in the swim spa while the kids play nearby, we have thoughtfully included the little things that make a family getaway feel easy, comfortable and memorable.

It was dog friendly and close to the beach, from the backyard, we were able to see a night launch from KSC no problem. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Overall great place!!

Great beach house in a quiet area!

We loved the proximity to the beach and downtown Cocoa, while enjoying a nice, quiet neighborhood. The amenities were great and my kids had a blast playing arcade games and ping pong.

Stayed here almost two weeks with no problems. Loved the screened porch and short walk to beach.Property was clean and located in a safe area. Many types and styles of restaurants super close.I would stay there again with no hesitation.

Great location, wonderful getaway

Our family had a great time at this property. We really enjoyed the location, as it is a short walk to a beautiful beach. The backyard is awesome. We made a fire in the fire pit. The property has all you need for a getaway, and we really enjoyed that the property owner shared equipment with us, such as boogie boards, skim boards, beach carts, chairs, etc. Also loved that we were able to bring our dog. Additionally, the property manager is very kind, super responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommend this place!

The place was in a great location and the host was wonderful. The host was very communicative. Provided lots of great information about the area and home. The house had everything we needed. Space was great for our large group. It was very close to the beach and provided so many things to help us make the most of our stay. Recommend 10/10.

Close to Beach and Dog Friendly

Clean and comfortable throughout. Big backyard for the dogs to run and close to the beach where dogs are allowed mornings and evenings. Enjoyed using the grill. Many other amenities are provided. The host, Brian, is wonderful with excellent communication.

Excellent property!

The property was perfect for our 2 families to vacation together. Plenty of room for all 9 of us. We loved all the extras-toys, beach necessities, bikes, hot tub, etc. Location was perfect-just a short walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants as well. Brian was a fabulous host, he truly went above and beyond to make sure we all had the best time! I highly recommend booking this property with Brian!

This was the perfect beach house for our five member family for vacation. Amazing space in and outside the house. Tons of beach stuff to use during the stay. The hot tub was amazing perk. We enjoyed the grilling and fire pit in the evenings and the beach was a few simple minutes away. Plenty of dining options very close to the house as well. Amazing communication from the owner who was very kind.

Great Stay Close to Beach, Very Pet Friendly!

We had a great time! Originally a little trouble finding the spot but once we did it was amazing. Walking distance to the beach and a lot of great places to eat. House is a bit small but had everything we needed and the yard is HUGE! We didn’t want to leave when our checkout time came.

Amazing

Such a perfect family friendly and pet friendly home! We had a blast in the large backyard with all the fun activities that were on the property. The beach was perfect walking distance, we were able to put our 1 year old in the little green wagon and take him to and from. Property manager was incredibly kind and super responsive! Would 10/10 recommend and love to stay again! Thank you Brian ☺️

Just what we needed

We were caring for our grandson during the day whilst our daughter went to a conference. The house is not cluttered and great for a very young child. We both grew up in south Florida and Cocoa is like visiting our grandparents houses. Concrete construction and tile floors. It had everything we needed and was full of toys for the kiddo. He loved the ping pong balls! Not fancy, but very easy and great for what we needed. Host was very helpful

Outside house is very much like a shade, they board two broken window up, very unpleasant and weird. They should not rent it out if the window were broken. But the surrounding house is nice. The inside of house is nice and enjoyable.

Perfect Location & Responsive Host

Our stay at Cocoa Beach was perfect. The home was indeed walking distance to the beach and many local food/drink locations. Everything in the listing was exactly how we found it. We especially loved the ping pong table!We were please with how engaged and responsive Brian was through the entire process. He gave us meticulous instructions, sent recommendations of places to eat, and encouraged us to use the surf boards and house amenities. Our teenagers were very excited with all is the things on site such as fishing poles, bikes, surf boards, etc, and I appreciated the beach towels, coffee machine, and space! If you get a chance, I highly recommend you book a dolphin tour or boating experience with Brian! He is very friendly, and he truly made our trip special on the boat tour!

Perfect Family Beach Getaway

We had a lovely stay at this charming little beach bungalow only two blocks away from the beach. It fit my family of seven comfortably and we enjoyed all the “fun extras”…games for the kids, kids pool table, massage chair :), reclining leather sofas, bicycles, beach chairs, and even a variety of coffee K-cups! Brian was an AMAZING host! Quick to respond to any question or concern and really thought of EVERYTHING a family could want or need on a vacation. The house was very clean and convenient to downtown Cocoa Beach. My favorite part of our vacation was riding our bikes to the beach and restaurants nearby. If you are looking for a quiet location, close to the beach, family friendly (and pet friendly), and reasonably priced…then look no further! Paradise awaits at Brian’s house!

Wonderful Short Getaway

We loved our time and found this beach house perfectly suited for our needs! We stayed here with another family and found it big enough for everyone to feel comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and had a great time telling stories around the firepit. The beach is just a short and easy walk away. The owners were very thoughtful in providing lots of fun items that our families really enjoyed using! It really was an exceptional value because we didn't have to buy beach toys or rent bikes. We really appreciated that. The owners were very thorough in their communication and instructions. They also answered our questions promptly. We would definitely recommend this house to others and we will be returning!

Amazing Family Vacation at the Hammock Hideaway!

We had an incredible stay at the Hammock Hideaway in Cocoa Beach, FL. There are so many activities included in the rental. We made use of the hammocks, kayaks, surf boards, fishing poles and so much more! Brian is the best host we have ever had any where we have stayed at. The home is stocked full of everything you could need for a beach vacation. It’s the perfect place to stay for a long family trip or even just a quick stay before hopping on one of the local cruise ships. I can’t imagine staying at a hotel. Here you have even the beach towels and life jackets provided for you! It is so close the the beach! Brian had great recommendations for local activies. There is so much to do within walking distance or you can use the bikes they provided. The only regret I had was not booking for longer! We hope to come back again in the future and we definitely will recommend it to all of our friends and family.

Excellent Communication

We really had a great time in Cocoa beach. The property was clean and well maintained and the host was exceptional. He communicated very well in advance of our stay providing information about the rental and even videos to show us around. If there was anything I needed during the stay, he responded quickly. The rental was walking distance to town/restaurants/bars and to the beach and included all the beach toys you would need. We really enjoyed the boogie boards, surf boards, skim boards, beach cruisers, and kayaks! He even had beach towels available. The backyard was amazing (very large and great for the dogs). While I would recommend this property for some, there are a few things I would like to have known: 1. It was advertised as an "entire house"; however, it is a duplex (with a shared wall). I had not seen that mentioned in the reviews or the description prior to our stay and had I known, I would not have booked this. My understanding is that VRBO doesn't have an option for "duplex", but I would have liked to have seen something in the description. I know now to ask in advance. 2. It is very small even just for three of us (especially the bathroom). 3. While it is walking distance to the beach (about two blocks), you have to cross two very busy streets with fast-moving traffic and there are no signals or crosswalks. Highly recommend taking an airboat tour while you are there!

Great beach bungalow -- just book it already! Two blocks from beach, places to eat and the Banana River. Beach chairs, umbrella, boards, towels, carts to make the haul easier.... All there for you to use. Bikes make it fun to get around as there are sidewalks all over. Plenty of bikes to pick from which made our stay great for a teenage daughter that likes to explore. Awesome place for young kids as there is a putting green, small hot tub and games! Comfortable beds and plenty of space for my small family. Fenced in yard and pet friendly was a win for us! Plenty of things to stay entertained, relax and renew. Host was exceptional with communication and let us check in early and even told us we could check out later than planned...which was a win!! Space launches can be watched from the beach which is fun. Great place to make memories and spend quality time together!
