Staff were friendly and professional, but also made a fuss of the children and made them feel special, which was just lovely, especially for the birthday girl! Hotel was clean throughout, comfortable bed, bathroom was spotless, breakfast and dinner were both excellent and the kids loved the pool also. "Truly an exceptional hotel. I grew up in the area and it has continued its history of providing an experience that excels (locals just call it “The Slieve”). The amenities are fantastic with the spa facilities, snooker room, drawing room for a peaceful morning. Breakfast in the main dining area with views of the Mounre Mountains is an experience itself. We hosted a family dinner in JJ Farrell’s food and service exceptional"

"Another great break at the briers. Ive stayed in the slieve donard, the avoca and the donard. The briers is easily my favourite. Beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back again before the end of the summer."

"I absolutely love it here, I stay whenever I’m back in Northern Ireland. Hillsborough is a gorgeous village, not far at all from Belfast. Arthur’s is a lovely hotel, right in the heart of town and walking distance from some great restaurants and bars. The rooms are stunning! Beautifully decorated and super comfortable. Breakfast is also great. I will always choose to stay here whenever I’m over :)"
