"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. "The room in Fontevraud L'Ermitage was pleasant, it was clean and the beds were good. Perfect for 2 or 3 nights. The room was quite warm in August, there were fans but they made little difference. We also missed having a seat. We were with 4 people, so sometimes we had to wait for each other. Don’t go for the breakfast, the selection is very limited and we found it very disappointing for the price."
