A lovely experience

What a unique experience to stay in the caves of the Loire Valley. We had a lovely time with our family at this hotel. We enjoyed the views and peacefulness of the hotel.

super séjour on n'a profiter de la piscine atypique super accueil le propriétaire est super accueillant a votre service tout y est peignoir pour piscine et mules petites bouteille eau et demi bouteille de Saumur Champigny on n'a diner dans la chambre confortable Le petit déjeuné est copieux avec que des produits locaux le pain et viennoiseries délicieuses. Wow, unique and spectacular

Spectacular setting of rooms dug into ancient caves, with a swimming pool also dug into a cave. Rooms are expectedly small but comfortable -- you probably won't spend much time in the room since there is an amazing (Michelin one star worthy) restaurant 700m down the road in Turquant, and an outstanding winery 200m the other direction down the walking path. Overall incredible stay, and owner Yannick was helpful, available, and spoke English well. Will definitely stay there again.

Upscale Rustic French Hotel with Caves

A wonderful hotel in a very interesting area. Think upscale rustic with limestone caves. Some of the rooms themselves may be a bit of a challenge for disabled and elderly (think tall tile steps and deep bathtubs, not showers), so be sure to clarify. "Cave" pool is fun and breakfast on the balcony in good weather make this out-of-the-way place worth the drive.

les hôtes sont disponibles, accueillants. Le cadre est magnifique, les chambres sont au calme. Idéal pour un weekend en amoureux. Les appartements en troglo au dessus de la piscine ont l'air extras aussi pour un séjour en famille. Super situé pour une tournée des châteaux....ou des caves...!

Hôtel bien mais encore du boulot

Température de l'eau de la piscine relativement froide. Toilettes très petites dans cette chambre (attention aux claustrophobes, sinon laissez ouvert et oubliez votre intimité) serviettes de bain pas de première jeunesse. Par contre la baignoire d'angle est plutôt sympathique et la chambre assez grande pour ceux qui font moins d'un mètre 80. (Sous combles) Proche du petit village d'artisans de Turquant. Changement de propriétaire depuis juin 2017. Nous lui souhaitons pleine réussite.

Beautiful hotel in very unusual setting!

My husband and I fell upon this stunning hotel by chance during our bike trip along the Loire. It's a fantastic setting-- built into the mountain, with some rooms in the main building and others built into the caves. Very comfortable rooms, we had a private sitting area upstairs. There are 2 great restaurants within walking distance.
