It’s about a 10 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you to the port. Pietro stayed in constant touch which was helpful. He provided directions to restaurants and to the shuttle. The place was clean. For a short stay it was good for us. Neighbor were loud. No frills but very comfortable, easy access to the port area and convenient. Love the privacy and security. Pietro is a wonderful host, telling and showing us the various highlights of the city of Civitaveccia. Pietro even offers transportation from the airport to the room (there is a cost but, to us it was worth it). Hey drove us to the port, which decreased our stress level. We knew it was not a b&b but more like a mother-in-laws quarters. The is a small kitchen area with a kettle and instant coffee and some tea bags. There is also a covered mostly enclosed patio to relax in.
