Good location with very nice swimming pool, but the house needs attention. We stayed for a week with our family of five and like said really enjoyed the swimming pool, genuinely lovely, and the location between two stunning bays meant we could walk to gorgeous bays easily. However, the house itself is quite worn. The beds are not just firm but also worn out — you can actually feel the pockets in your back, which makes sleeping uncomfortable over a week. The couches in the living room are frayed and uncomfortable for two people, and the kitchen equipment is minimal. The beds also made considerable noise. Water pressure in the house is suboptimal. We contacted the rental service about these issues. They initially dismissed it as a matter of taste, saying it depends for instance whether you like soft or hard beds. But that’s not the point — the real problem is feeling the pockets in your back, which is genuinely uncomfortable for a week’s stay. They eventually visited when we were not there, but left no message or notes about what was done. The location and pool are wonderful, but the property needs proper maintenance and refurbishment. The customer service also fell short.
