Being a few feet from the beach was perfect for a romantic getaway. The Hotels manager, Angel was very welcoming, friendly and extremely accommodating. It is a perfectly memorable experience. "This place has an amazing location, but that is the only positive. The showers don't drain, so there is standing water everywhere attracting mosquitoes. Staff was rude. The mixed dorm was where laundry was stored so staff would come in and turn the lights on at 11:30. The owner also turned the lights on and gave a tour to friends (?) while I was sleeping. The owner is also known for being a creep to women. There is no kitchen; a hot plate and one beat up pan is all that's provided, not even...

"This property is perfect for a romantic getaway. We stayed 3 nights in one of the cottages which is located away from the main building so it is somewhat isolated. It is perfect if you want a peaceful weekend. The only issue is the lack of staff. After 7pm you are on your own. And even though they provide you with a number to call, they do not answer nor can you leave a message. This became an issue at one point. Other then that it is a perfect oasis. "

"John is the perfect host, there when you need him, responsive to your every need but providing enough space to feel private. Dos Angeles is a beautiful tribute to John's family and the property reflects his pride. The continental breakfast was plentiful, the pool was perfect, the room spacious and spotless, and the location was minutes from everywhere. We spent a week and were sad to leave, but will definitely be back."
