The property is tucked away in a nice little town 20 minutes from the mountain. The hotel, staff, food and accommodations were excellent. I’d definitely return here.

I don't think that many Americans get to Chiusa, our Italian is not great and I know a little German, but we felt a little uncomfortable at times, mainly during dinner, otherwise, the place is amazing and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever seen.

LOK SUN

The hotel was located just beside a river in Chiusa, close to the Dolomite National Park with some of the most famous mountains in Europe. It was a suitable site for our stopover to prepare for exploring the mountain areas and the best view from Santa Magdalena. Although the reception area was quite small we had a friendly welcome from the staff. By mistake they had cancelled two of our four rooms under reservation. However, the manager fully solved our worries when he upgraded four of our guests to another nearby 4-star hotel. There were sufficient free parking in a parking lot near the hotel. The rooms were well furnished, decorated and spacious for our comfortable stay. We had included breakfast buffet in our reservation, but there were only limited choice of food in a small restaurant downstairs next morning. Nevertheless, we appreciated the very good hotel service in helping us to carry our heavy luggage upstairs through narrow stairs.

Every comfort plus character! Recommended!
Great updated and comfortable small hotel conveniently located only 60m from a the large public car park, a very attractive pedestrianised old area of the alpine village. We only stayed one night but hiked to the hilltop convent and explored the old village. There is far more to see and do. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and staff helpful and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The room we stayed was spacious and having a good view to moutain from a eindow. This Walther von der Vogelweide is located in very nice old town.

Happy with our stay
Enjoyed our stay here. I had to book two separate rooms for the family of 4. Rooms are very clean. The breakfast is outstanding. If you are coming by car (like we did) follow the instructions from the hotel's website how to get to the parking lot. A lot of streets are open to pedestrians only. We ate dinner at the hotel once and the food was great. They make a really good pizza. From the parking lot it took us 30 min to get to the cablecar in Alpe di Siusi to go to Dolomites.

Very, very nice hotel with a very good restaurant.
This is a charming, well kept hotel in an beautiful location. The restaurant is very good, both for dinner and breakfast. The hotel was quite comfortable and we would be happy to stay there again.

Gutes Hotel - guter Service!
Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit sehr aufmerksamem und hilfbereitem Personal. Alle Zimmer geräumig und neu ausgestattet. Die Küche ist bestens und das Restaurant immer gut besucht. Empfehlenswert auch bei hoher Auslastung.

Schöner Hotel-Gasthof in Südtirol
Alles tip top einziger Wermutstropfen ist, daß im Haus kein Aufzug vorhanden ist. Wir wohnten im 2. Stock, da wäre ein Aufzug schon angenehm! Bei An-und Abreise wurde vom - sehr freundlichen - Personal Hilfe beim tragen der Koffer angeboten. Wir verbrachten dort nur eine Nacht, da auf der Durchreise vom Süden. Ein anderes Mal gerne länger!

L'accueil à notre arrivée n'a pas été aimable; par contre, le service a été impeccable au petit-déjeuner. J'ai réservé cette chambre au mois de juillet pour fin décembre et on nous a donné une chambre mansardée au 3ème étage sans nous proposer de nous aider pour porter les bagages, mon mari a 70 ans et moi 66.

Rummet var mycket litet, men med fin utsikt mot floden. Servicen i restaurangen var usel, vi var två personer som beställde varsin huvudrätt och dessa kom med 25 minuters mellanrum, tydligen inte dom enda eftersom bordet bredvid hade samma problem. Dessutom kom aldrig det beställda vattnet trots att vi bad om det ytterligare två gånger.

Wie hatten das Hotel als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in die Toskana gebucht und hatten eigentlich keine großen Erwartungen. Sehr schön in der Altstadt gelegen, mit eigener Tiefgarage, sehr freundliches Personal. Abends haben wir nach Vergleich der örtlichen Lokale auch im hoteleigenen Restaurant gegessen was eine gute Entscheidung war. Excellente Südtiroler Küche mit flottem, freundlichem Service. Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war zwar übersichtlich, die Qualität allerdings ausgezeichnet. Biobrot und leckere Wurst- und Käsesorten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Mycket trevligt boende i en pittoresk alpby i norra Italien. Stort rum och trevligt bemötande. Dock fanns det inga exstrasängar även fast det stod att det fanns. Annars perfekt.

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt in Chiusa (Klausen)
Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Wir haber hier eine Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg in die Toscana eingelegt. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt in der Innenstadt in schöner Lager. Von hier kann man sehr gut zum Bummeln gehen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Bewirtung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir hatten ein Kind mit Weizenallergie dabei, auf Anfrage wurden uns zum Frühstück weizenfreie Brötchen organisiert. Vom Aufenthalt waren wir sehr begeistert. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren überrascht und sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer geräumig und sehr gut entsprechend 3 Sterne ausgestattet. Besonders gefielen uns die verwendeten exklusiven Materialien. Es liegt mitten in der schönen Altstadt und bietet eine gute Startposition für viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Verbesserungsvorschlag: Ausleihe von Federkopfkissen.
