About this property
Entire place
You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
Incredible secluded cabin featuring amazing forest views off of the back deck!
Welcome to one of the most well-stocked cabins in the Hocking Hills, where you can enjoy seclusion and tranquility in a spotlessly clean cabin nestled on a 42-acre ridgetop surrounded by epic forest scenery! This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin boasts a walkout basement, two amazing decks, and a fully-equipped kitchen that will make your travels stress-free.
As you approach the cabin from below, following an old logging road through the woods, you'll be greeted by an excellent seating space on the front deck. This is a great spot to get acquainted with the property before entering the cabin, where you'll find a charming open-concept living room, a well-appointed kitchen, and a cozy dining area.
The wall coverings were milled from local salvaged timber, giving the cabin a unique character. The rich Red Oak floors were also sourced from the area.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the supplies you need, including coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper, paper towels, cookware, plates, bowls, utensils, and more. You can grill out on the large grill or use the full-size range to whip up a delicious meal.
The living area features ample seating around a beautiful gas fireplace, which provides great ambiance and radiant heat with the flick of a switch!
On the same floor, you’ll find two spacious yet cozy bedrooms, both featuring large windows with queen-sized luxury memory foam mattresses, located on the same floor as a lovely full bathroom.
Step out onto the elevated back deck and relax with tranquil views of the forest below. The ceiling fans on both decks make them great outdoor living spaces that stay comfortable even on the hottest days!
Heading downstairs to the walkout basement, you'll find a spacious rec room with a big-screen Roku smart TV. YouTube TV is available for your enjoyment, and you're welcome to log in to your own streaming services as well.
Two more bedrooms with forest views are down the hall, one with a queen bed and the other with a full/twin bunk bed - ideal for larger groups or kids!
The back porch provides additional outdoor space and is a nice quiet nook to relax and enjoy the sounds and sights of the forest while working the grill. When the sun sets, head around back and enjoy the night while sitting around the fire pit with your group.
The property itself is 42 acres and is yours to explore! There are a few old logging roads that are great for hiking, but keep in mind that they aren't currently maintained, so long pants are highly recommended. While there is one other cabin (listing #7713482) within eyeshot on the property, it is 500+ feet away, so you're about as secluded as it gets!
Although the cabin is secluded, it's less than 25 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park, which offers a range of outdoor activities for visitors. Tar Hollow is also nearby and has a public swimming lake.
The last mile of the road is gravel, but it's worth it! Standard sedans are usually fine as long as you drive slowly and strategically. Sporty low-clearance vehicles should be avoided. All-wheel drive is recommended in the winter months in case there is snow on the ground.
The internet is completely free of charge and is a high-speed low latency Starlink connection, making it easy to stream video or do video calling.
We keep our base rate on the low end and charge additional guest fees based on the number in your group. There are no guest fees for the first two guests. Please be honest about the number in your group, as we reserve the right to retain the damage deposit if we find that more beds and/or towels were used than the number of guests specified.
Please note: The number of towels provided is based on the stated guest count. The housekeepers also base how many bedding sets to bring and time needed to get the place cleaned and turned over after your stay. If the guest or pet count is misstated, it may result in additional cleaning fees to be charged
We also highly recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance in case of the need to cancel due to a positive COVID case in your group.
Finally, please take note that we are not responsible for items left behind. Any items that are requested to be mailed back will cost a $100 fee plus the cost of shipping.
Hunting is only allowed if both cabins on the property are rented at the same time (#7713482 and #1781220). A $250/day fee applies.
We look forward to having you stay with us and hope you enjoy your time in the Hocking Hills!

The place was lovely, very secluded, and we had a relaxing stay. The Hocking hikes were nearby and the whole trip was the perfect pre-holiday get away. The house was stocked, welcoming, and we loved the separate movie area.
Host was very accommodating when we ran into some unexpected issues. All was good. Love the seclusion and serenity of the location in the middle of nowhere.
It was the perfect retreat for our getaway. Directions to the cabin from the host were greatly appreciated. Wish we could have enjoyed more of the property, but the chilly weather kept us inside or in the hot tub! Will definitely stay again.
The cabin was even better than I expected. It was clean, well stocked and felt like home away from home. Having the lights on as I approached at night was such a great touch!
Absolutely a great experience. Excellent communication from beginning to end. The cabin, and all amenities were beyond expectation. Very enjoyable vacation.
The cabin was very clean and well equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was very quiet and secluded, and a perfect place to relax. It was a bit off the beaten path but worth the drive if you're looking for piece and quiet. And the property owners were great to work with. I would definitely go back here if I were staying in the area again.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It is very secluded and just what we needed to relax. It had everything we needed and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. Communication was easy and accurate. Highly recommend!
Cabin was well maintained and very peaceful. Was great for our group; the little ones enjoyed the bunk bed room. Host provided detailed directions to the cabin which was very helpful.
This cabin is amazing! It’s very secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub, forest views, sitting around the fire pit and the very spacious porch/deck. We can’t wait to come back! :)
The cabin was very clean and relaxing for the week. The only disappointing thing was they didn't have the bathrooms supplied with shampoo and body wash, while there were cleaning supplies for everything else (hand, dishes, and washer).
The cabin is a very nice and comfortable size and fit our family of five perfectly. Our daughters stayed in the bedrooms in the basement and we stayed on the main floor where we had a room to ourselves and our son had the final bedroom. There is a lot of space outside of the cabin. During the day, the kids and I "explored" the area with our dog. We really liked that there was only one other house near us but even that was a good walk away. Our kids enjoyed using the hot tub and we had fires at the fire pit each night during our stay. The only downside is that we didn't stay long enough!
Loved the secluded location, the cabin was awesome, loved both of the decks, the hot tub, fire pit, and the corn hole game got a lot of use after a long day of hiking. The whole family had a great time.
This place was fantastic and the property manager was fantastic. We had a great time and couldn’t say more about how clean and perfect this place was for our 2 boys and dog.
