Holidays for the Whole Family
At our child-friendly farm, our young guests not only have the opportunity to get to know animals such as calves, alpacas, and ponies, but also to actively help out with farm work. This way, children learn more about farm life and how to care for animals in an exciting way.

The region around Lake Chiemsee delights visitors with its breathtaking scenery and diverse recreational opportunities. Whether hiking, biking, or visiting the impressive Herrenchiemsee Palace—there’s something for everyone here.
The Anastasia holiday rental is located in our family-friendly guesthouse, which was built in the style of a traditional farmhouse. Warm solid oak floors, handcrafted furniture, and a hand-planed wooden ceiling create a cosy atmosphere where young and old alike will feel right at home.
Family-Friendly Farmhouse-Style Living
The spacious living room with a large corner sofa offers plenty of room for family time—whether playing, reading, or relaxing. Blackout curtains ensure restful sleep, even for the children’s afternoon naps. A south-facing balcony with seating invites you to enjoy the sun.
In the separate children’s room, your children will find a bunk bed (90 × 200 cm) and a single bed (90 × 200 cm)—ideal for siblings. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed (180 × 200 cm) without a footboard.
The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower with indirect lighting. Underfloor heating provides cosy warmth throughout the entire apartment—perfect for families with small children.
South-facing balcony overlooking the playground
The south-facing balcony offers an unobstructed view of the courtyard. Parents can relax while the children play safely within sight. A cosy seating area makes the balcony the ideal spot for a little break.
Allergy-friendly, non-smoking apartment
The holiday rental is a non-smoking apartment and is specially equipped to be allergy-friendly. A central vacuum system is available. Out of consideration for guests with allergies, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets.

We—the Schauer family—are Alexandra and Josef with our daughters Maria and Barbara. At our Schauerhof farm, we’ve been offering “farm stays” since 2025—now in our third generation.
In July 2025, the farm was handed over to our daughter Maria.
We’re excited to introduce you to our farm and our family!
