Nice property but very misleading parking description
The property was clean and in good order. Three bedrooms slept our family comfortably. This property is newly updated, so furniture is clean, comfortable, and made our stay pleasant. The kitchen was a little sparse (no toaster, no kettle, etc.). Check-in was easy and the manager/owner was quick to respond. The property headline touts with “with parking” and the listing promised a “reserved private parking space right by the building.” It turns out that the parking space is at a gas station a 10-15 minute walk from the property. You must go in and speak with the cashier each time you park. While private parking is unusual in Rogers Park, this parking space was not at all what was promised in the listing. We selected this property because we were driving and had 3 children with us, so not actually having a “reserved space right by the building” was a serious inconvenience. The owner did not take this discrepancy seriously.
