Nice hotel to explore Chicago

Posted 03-Feb-2016
Pros: Central location, friendly staff
Cons: some areas look a little dated...
Location: Magnificent mile, Macys, Willis Tower just around the corner...
The hotel is centrally located and perfect for any downtown activity. It's around the corner from Magnificent Mile located in a quiet street. The house has the old charm and looks a little dated. But my bathroom was updated. The room was rather small but had everything I needed and it's enough for one person. 2 minutes walk to the next bus stop. The reception and the especially the concierge where extremely helpful and very friendly.

Its my second time to living in Millennium, this is a perfect hotel. It's very close to Michigan AVE and only several minutes walking to shopping.

tolle Lage, sehr sauber

Insgesamt tolle Lage, schönes Hotel, sehr sauber. Internet nur in der Lobby frei - Nutzung im Zimmer kostenpflichtig (10 Dollar/Tag) Bei dem Übernachtungspreis eigentlich unverschämt.

Room was ok. Staff was great. The best thing was that it was close to the mag mile and deal on parking was awesome.

Convenient and Nice

Posted 31-Jan-2016
This hotel is classic city living: there's not much extra room to spread out, but the location is excellent. The room, though tiny, was stylish and the design made good use of the space. The location is convenient, not just for the Magnificent Mile, but it's also an easy, safe walk to buses and trains that will take you anywhere in the city. I'd love to stay here again.

Posted 29-Jan-2016
Pros: Clean renovated rooms. Location close to the Magnificent Mile Shopping Area
Location: Shopping, restaurants, train
Spent two days felt like home. Nice clean historic hotel with Nix restaurant and Martini bar. We appreciated our stay and would like to visit Chicago Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel!

Older hotel at the north end of the Mag Mile

Posted 18-Jan-2016
Pros: Location, beds, bathroom shower design.
Cons: Maintenance of elevators and door locks.
Location: The north end of the Magnificent Mile, near the music bars on Rush Street. Shopping, Oak Street Beach, the John Hancock Building observation deck.
This is an older hotel property with related characteristics such as small elevator cars and hotel lobby and bar area, etc. Think small cozy hotel as opposed to large modern facility. There were some maintenance issues during my stay, such as only two of three elevators working (which sometimes triggered a wait for an elevator) and my room door's magnetic lock not working (I could push the door open with my flat palm, without the need for a key), but the location of the hotel is ideal (just south of The Drake and north of Water Tower Place) if you want to shop the Mag Mile or party the night away on Rush Street. I would definitely consider staying there again. The room was small but OK, the beds were great, and I loved the rainfall shower head and well-shaped handheld shower nozzle.

Historic hotel near Michigan Ave

Good hotel. Rooms are a bit small, carpeting a bit worn. No coffee maker but all the other amenities. Good value with our Expedia rate.
