Didnโ€™t know about the buildingโ€™s history until after we got there and looked at the plaque by the entrance. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Watched fireworks over the lake from the patio. A visitor who had grown up in Chicago said it was the best view of the city heโ€™d ever seen. Our place is too small to have everyone stay with us so we needed a VRBO rental nearby. This place did not disappoint!! Very comfortable, clean, and well-kept place with a nice view of the lake and access to the building rooftop terrace. There is also a gym and an in-unit washer/dryer! Perfect location (short walk to all the major sites or to Red Line train for things north like Wrigley) and the building is very quiet. I expected to hear street noise or other people (big city stuff) and heard nothing! The place is very clean and is as pictured. Communication with owners was great.
