Right in the middle of everything
Our trip to Chicago was made all the more pleasant by our stay at Central Loop. As many others have stated, the hotel is located in a prime area. The bean, the art institute, Willis Tower, Magnificent Mile, and the Navy Pier were all in reasonable walking distance from the hotel. When we ventured out to explore other neighborhoods, the hotel's super close proximity to the subway blue line made things a breeze. We even took the subway right from O'Hare to the hotel. It was super easy. The hotel is near, many drugstores such as Walgreens, quick eats and shopping near by.
The room was perfect. We had read some reviews saying that the room was extremely small, but when we entered for the first time we were quite pleased. The room was not too small. Our size small room came with a huge queen sized bed (comfy too), there was a sitting space, a desk space, a reasonable sized closet, fridge, microwave, tv and bathroom. I thought the room had everything we needed without feeling cramped at all. It was completely fine. The only thing that made the room feel small was that the bathroom was quite narrow in design, also not quite up-to-date, but nonetheless this is a small insignificant detail. The shower was a decent size, there was quite a lot of counter space.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions about the city or the hotel facilities.
