The room was clean and in a good location. We were walking distance to the Willis Tower and the Union Station. Giordano's and a Corner Bakery were just a few blocks away.

Stone table for a bed

Posted 06-Jun-2017
The hotel staff was very nice and the room was clean, however, I felt like Fred Flinstone sleeping on that stone bed. I had to buy a foam matress topper.

Great hotel.

Posted 28-May-2017
Great hotel, it's close to everything which makes it easy to walk to most places around the central loop. Lots of restaurants nearby. My only issues were the heater and room service. It felt like the a/c was on the whole time, when it got cold the heater did not work properly. Room service was a hit or miss, on one night we got the food pretty quickly from the Thai restaurant the hotel is partnered with. On another night, we ordered Italian food from the Bella restaurant and it took almost an hour and a half to get our food. Overall, the hotel was great with lots of amenities for all guests to use.

Great staff and ok rooms.

Posted 25-May-2017
The hotel was great for location, we were in the heart of it all or at most a ten to twenty minute walk for where we wanted to be and a ten minute cab for other areas. Hotel was dated but for the little time we were in the room it suited our needs perfectly. The hotel staff was great and accommodating for our early arrival and late departure, friendly and professional.

The hotel is in a central location. Very easy to walk or take CTA. The hotel facilities are good but above all the staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Location is not for weekend, vacation

Posted 03-May-2017
I went for a mini vacation / long weekend stay at central loop hotel. The hotel is in downtown/the loop. On the weekend the neighborhood is pretty much empty, not a lot of restaurants are opened on the weekend. The area is lively during the weekdays. Nevertheless I think magnificent Mile area would be better suited for vacation leisure stay. This location could be good for a business stay as it is close to offices and trains. The hotel room itself is very tiny. It's tinier than I expected but at least it's bathroom is not crammed and it's shower is comfortable to use. There's also tv with a good amount of channels. I am not a big fan of their sheets and bed but other than that the service was good, staffs were friendly. There's also a water machine with bottles supplied next to the elevator, which is good to have.

Wonderful location and large room.

Posted 26-Apr-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Noisy elevator; restaurant improvements should be done in May
Location: Willis Tower, Millennium Park, Magnificent Mile and State Street shops
The bed was comfortable and the location perfect for seeing the loop. We missed the new pub by a few weeks so was disappointed there wasn't a restaurant on-site. We found cheaper parking nearby instead of using the valet service.

Great location

Posted 25-Apr-2017
Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful. Clean, neat room. Love the location of the hotel.
Cons: Nothing. I had a great stay.
Location: Blocks away from The Art Institute and Millennium Park. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Buses and trains are nearby to help me get around.
I was in Chicago for the weekend to do some sight seeing at the city's finest museums. I really liked the location of Central Loop Hotel. I would say it is about 4-5 blocks away from The Art Institute of Chicago and the Magnificent Mile. It is also very close to public transit. Staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a very nice stay at the Central Loop Hotel. I certainly would go back to the hotel whenever I am in town.
