On the 53rd floor, we had a view of the fireworks on Navy Pier, the iconic Chicago Theater, among other famous landmarks. The hosts were responsive when contacted. It was very well provisioned & was immaculate when we checked in. It was walking distance to almost everything we wanted to visit including Millenium Park, The Museum Campus, lots of excellent restaurants. Having a Jewell grocery store next door was an added bonus. The VRBO is clean, well-stocked and very comfortable. The owner’s expectations and instructions were very clear and they even checked in us a couple of times. The Penthouse condo is in an ideal location, with unbelievable views, central to all of the best Chicago sights and scenes. Easy access the the CTA station right out the front door of the building, or an easy walk or short Uber ride to all other city spots. The view from the 53rd floor was amazing, especially at night when the surrounding buildings lit up. The location was great. We either took the Red Line on the corner (very easy to navigate around town) or walked to nearby sights, restaurants, and the lake. The apartment was perfect for the 4 of us. The pool was refreshing, and the kitchen allowed us to have breakfast there before heading out, plus cocktails and snacks in the evening. The staff was very helpful. Great communication with managers of the apartment, beautiful place, marvelous view, great workout facilities, close to an insane number of fabulous restaurants, just above a Jewel supermarket, and right at an entrance/exit to the CTA red line subway station. The property gave us such easy access to so many things around Chicago. The building itself was very friendly, including the wonderful doorman! We spent lots of time out and about exploring (and eating), but also enjoyed hanging out on the property for morning breakfast, as well as evening card-playing. Having a grocery store/liquor store attached to the property was also a huge help! The property owners gave us great instructions, not only on how to access the building, but also links to helpful sites for our visit. The view at this penthouse will not disappoint—It is magical beyond words and the balcony provides an opportunity to enjoy Chicago in a way we had never experienced before. Just a couple of downsides. The bed pillows in the smaller bedroom were rocks! Fortunately, there was an extra pillow in the linen closet. And, the sofa needs to be refurbished as one sinks to 12” off the ground when seated. Our hosts were perfect in every way and we look forward to returning. ##### Joyce B.
