It’s a very short walk to the Irving Park L (train) station, as well as to coffee shops, stores, and Trader Joe’s. I also walked (&/or went on runs) to Roscoe Village, Ravenswood, and Lakeview. The AC didn’t work in the bedroom, but it wasn’t too hot. However, the building changed the locks in the middle of my stay and I was locked out. I came home after midnight and spent an hour outside before I gave up and went to a friend’s house. The host was responsive, but it took an hour to get to the point where they offered me another option. Then it took hours the next morning before I could get into the building despite my repeated requests and the host saying they had a key but couldn’t get it to me. I was locked away from all of my belongings and ended up missing the whole first half of my work day. I was panicked that I would not be able to get back inside before I had to take my flight.
