Rooms are spacious with big windows inviting a lot of light. TV only had thai channels but everyone gets their news on their phones anyway. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was great. Really nice bathroom products too. The area is across from the Chiang Mai Gate Night Market and directly behind is Wat Phan Waen Thai Massage School and you can easily walk into all the attractions. The Sunday Baker cafe has really good breakfast/brunch items. Their croissant was so airy and buttery. Easily one of my favorite stays near the Old City as many places in the Old City are "Old".
