Beautiful and relaxing
We had the most wonderful stay, we were there with family and were made to feel very welcomed. The views over the farm are stunning, the house was lovely and clean and had so much space. Our son fell in love with the house and seeing the horses. Laura could not have been more helpful, we cannot wait to come and stay again.

Amazing vacation!
We had a fabulous time at Owls Roost. The cottage was very spacious, clean and well equiped. We also got to enjoy the hot tub. Laura was simply a wonderful host! She even let us meet the horses and dogs. We would love to come back again just to see that amazing view of the hills with the cows and horses roaming about.

We had a great time in Owls Roost!
We loved the spaciousness, the beautiful and peaceful landscape with horses and cows, and the hot tub — a big hit for the whole family! The location was also great, with only a short drive to many attractions in the Cotswolds.
The only downside was cleanliness — the carpets could have been cleaner, and a quick run with a vacuum would have made a big difference.

A wonderful Christmas stay at Owl's Roost!
We adored our stay over Christmas at Owl's Roost - the perfect Cotswolds home! Cold Aston is a gorgeous town with a divine pub right in the heart. Owl's Roost is very spacious (with two living areas and a good size kitchen), while also feeling super cozy. We loved the views out onto the paddocks, and the hot tub was such a hit. Laura and Nick were incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. We loved our stay - would most definitely recommend!

Relaxing weekend
Owls Roost was a lovely place to stay for our long weekend in the Cotswolds. It was very clean and comfortable with well appointed kitchen. Stunning views over the countryside. It was a mile walk to the village and pub where we had amazing steak one day and fantastic Sunday lunch the next. Our hosts, Laura and Nick were lovely hosts. Would thoroughly recommend as a base in the Cotswolds.
This is a lovely property in a great location. Really close to Bourton on the water and other places to visit and yet on a working farm with beautiful countryside all around and horses roaming in fields nearby - including a new-born baby foal. The family living in the neighbouring property manage the house and so are available if needed and included the little boy we had with us with their children including riding the horses. We visited the local Cotswold Farm Park, Bourton, Stow on the Wold and also a wine tasting and vineyards tour at Larkhill vineyard in Tetbury. Some of our party played golf at Naunton Downs which was good and nearby but for several days we just relaxed in the gardens and soaked up the sun and enjoyed the views and hot tub.

A beautiful home in the Cotswolds
We had a wonderful stay at Owls Roost. Laura was such a helpful host, providing recommendations for an excellent Sunday lunch (The Nuttery) and even offering a late check-out.
The house is beautiful with plenty of space and seating for everyone to spend time together. The only downside was that we hadn’t understood from the floor plan that the bedrooms don’t have doors. Each is accessed via its own flight of stairs so you do have some privacy, but the lack of doors means that sound travels. Because the ground floor is open-plan, we felt that when anyone in our party went to bed, we should all retire too since there was no way of blocking noise for them. Doors for the bedrooms and a sliding door between the main lounge and kitchen would make this a perfect holiday home!
The setting is idyllic - we loved watching the horses in the fields and admiring the views.
We’d love to come back in spring/summer to make use of the hot tub and lovely outdoor furniture.

“Highly Recommended Stay in a Stunning Location
We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this cottage. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the place was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained.
The cottage itself is very comfortable, and the amazing views made our stay even more special. The thoughtful touches like fresh scones, cream, and milk were greatly appreciated.
A fantastic place for families, and we will definitely be returning!

Beautiful views
We were staying here for a family wedding. There was an issue with the heating when we arrived but this was fixed after a couple of days. I did feel that some of the kitchen utensils and equipment need to be replaced but otherwise had an enjoyable stay.
