"Very clean room, lovely staff. Excellent breakfast and service. The room was well designed and had everything we needed. Loved the treat bag bed and bowl for our dog. She was a very happy girl. Plus despite a wedding celebration our room was very quiet all night. Highly recommended!"

"The property and the surrounds were stunning. The bar staff seemed to be having a tough time keeping up but overall a great stay and wonderful staff ! Lots of day trips were very easy from the Inn as well as a beautiful walk into Bourton on the Water ! Highly recommended"

"Great staff and customer service, rooms nice and clean but air con was not brilliant and the sinks in the room would not put out cold water for more than 5 seconds and kept flowing extremely hot. Apart from that it was a nice stay"

"Quite basic but clean, fluffy towels and tea/coffee making facilities. No aircon but there was a fan available and it was surprisingly quiet so we were able to sleep with the windows open. The properties behind the hotel, which our room faced, were being renovated so I imagine that could be noisy if staying during the week but we were there at weekend and it was surprisingly silent. There is underground parking at the hotel but that was full, however we parked in the Rodney Road multi-storey car park overnight and only cost £16. All very central."

"Public house itself part of a far larger Estate. Interesting history as described by the young lady who runs the establishment with her partner. Good wholesome breakfast presented to the table as opposed to having to serve yourself. Accommodation was more than satisfactory although we did turn down the first room offered for a room on the ground floor in an annex building apparently habited by an elderly lady for most of her life. Outside seating area which afforded a pleasant sun trap although no umbrella provided. Plenty of choice on the menu for evening meal which we enjoyed immensely and even purchased a slice of lemon drizzle cake off the bar to take home with us. Although it is slightly remote it is well within the striking distance of Cheltenham and what we regarded as a reasonable price for the accommodation. Bed and pillows very comfortable and shower clean and of good quality."

"We booked our stay almost a year ago and were pleasantly surprised! As a wheelchair user in an accessible room, I found the facilities fantastic. Check-in was smooth; the desk is high, but staff thoughtfully provided a clipboard to sign paperwork. Our ground-floor room (Room 18) was clean and spacious enough to park and charge my wheelchair overnight while still moving comfortably. The bathroom featured a roll-in shower with a seat, a red pull cord, and a left-side drop-down transfer rail by the toilet. Note: the bed is standard hotel height with no pull cord or bedside sockets (ample sockets exist opposite the bed, which was fine for us). They also provide a vibrating under-pillow emergency alarm. Spa access was great. I rode to the changing room—which has a fully accessible roll-in shower/seat and toilet with rails—and used my walking stick to reach the pool. However, please note there are no transfer aids or hoists for the pool or hot tub. The food was fantastic! Any minor issues were rectified quickly, professionally, and apologetically. The staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout our visit. We had a truly wonderful stay and will definitely be returning next year!"
