"Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again."

You can tell the parts of the hotel that haven’t been refurbished yet but that didn’t bother us, it’s great to see they are...

, I would use the company and the property again. My only disappointment was the back garden wasn’t secure, hole into neighbours garden, so couldn’t let my sister in laws dog out unleashed and there was poo either from a stray animal or previous renter."

"The property was beautiful, warm and welcoming. A short walk from the ferry across to Portsmouth, an art gallery almost next door and Morrisons a hop skip and jump away so a perfect location especially with it's own parking spot. Had a brilliant stay despite the weather."
