Wonderful stay. Lovely place, great food, warm hospitality. Everything you’d need.

Beautiful property, stylish decor and excellent hosts. Great location in the lovely town of Rochefort. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The pool was a very welcome amenity particularly in the heatwave!

We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'hôtes La Tillaie and would not hesitate to recommend it. The property has been beautifully renovated, combining character and charm with every modern comfort. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large, very comfortable bed. Chose a stay in La Rochelle randomly, for a few civilised days by the sea (after being landlocked in the Charente with group of friends). A local friend warned us about the town being car hostile, and (especially during rugby tournament) extremely lively at night.
