Just amazing service and staff , very friendly and helpful the hotel itself is amazing for the price and a good location I really loved this place o would recommend it
The location was ideal. Back patio had a beautiful view of the mountains. However the wider patio area was shared, and our neighbors took their table and set it out in the middle of the open area and basically took it over, so no privacy, and we really couldn’t enjoy the back patio because they were u friendly. Basically gave us a stare when we said hi.
It’s not an amazing hotel, but for the price in the area, it was good enough.
Most of the staff were helpful. There was just one woman who was a bit standoffish. Example is I asked her what things there are to do and her response was it depends on the person. Everyone likes different things. When I asked her about trains to Paris, she said there were many ways to get to Paris and it depended on the person. You get the idea.
The hotel was a solid 4. She was a 2 at best.

Staff was so professional and nice. The facility was spotless and the management was so kind
I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is quaint, comfortable, and clean. The best part were the balconies looking out on the field where the paragliders land. Behind the field is an AMAZING view of the mountains and the Aiguille du Midi.
The two logistical items worth noting are:
(1) the hotel only has an elevator on one side. The young man working the front desk took my heavy bag up three floors when I checked in. But it is a little harder to get up and down if you have heavy bags and/or struggle with stairs.
(2) The location is about a half a mile from the epicenter of downtown and almost a mile from the bus station and the entrance to the Aiguille du Midi. It’s a lovely walk and no problem if you’re mobile. It does make it hard to go to and from the bus station w/o an overpriced Uber ($20+ USD for a 5 min ride.) It is quieter in the evening than being right in the middle of town, for better or for worse.
In the winter, it looks like a ski run ends right in front of the hotel. That’s a plus for staying here for skiing.
Overall, it was a lovely hotel. I think next time I would opt to stay in the middle of town. Just makes it easier when you’re coming back and forth from daytime activities and want to change and/or grab dinner and a beer without walking back and forth.
The room does have a nice view from the balcony, but unfortunately, the room itself does not look like the photos. It is old and shows a lot of wear and tear.
The biggest issue for me was the noise. Starting around 5:30 a.m., trucks begin passing by making it very difficult to sleep in.
I stayed for three nights before my TMB hike and paid over $600 for the stay. Despite that, the older lady refused to let me use their wine glass to drink my own wine in the room, so I ended up drinking it from a paper cup. I also had to pay €5 per day to store my luggage.
I had originally planned to stay another night after completing the hike, but after my experience with the service, I decided to change my plans.
One positive point: the gentleman at the property was kind enough to let me use their refrigerator to store some fruit since there is no refrigerator in the room.
Chamonix itself is beautiful, but in my experience, the level of service at this property did not justify the price.
This place was phenomenal. Absolutely cannot beat waking up to an uninterrupted view of Mont Blanc! Staff were very friendly, answered advance email questions promptly, and were knowledgeable about the local area. Convenient location near town for restaurants and entertainment, and winter you've got walk-to ski access for Brevent via the Savoy platter lift; easy to use bus access to Le Tour and Les Houches as well. Not far from the train station either. Boot dryers, space for skis, what more can I say, this place was a dream! Will absolutely have to return!!
Wonderful location with spectacular views. Great owners, great staff, great breakfast, great bar. In a word: Great! One of the finest hotel stays of my life.
