"Our Royal Grand Pool Villa was absolutely beautiful and had a stunning sea view. The setting and grounds were well manicured and kept. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had many choices of food types to fit all different kinds of tastes. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The only negative which was not a deal breaker was at checkout. We could not understand what the lady helping us was saying and when she walked away twice she rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed. "The overall experience was amazing. The property and the staff were all great, the breakfast was excellent, and service was 5 star to say the least. "We stayed at Le Meridien as a group of 6, 5 Adults and one 8 year old for a week (one adult stayed 4 nights). We all really enjoyed our stay. The resort is large, clean, well maintained, with good amenities. Breakfast has a wide choice and wasn't overly busy. The hotel is a little out of the way, but 10-15 mins in a taxi gets you into Karen, Kata or Patong. The only slight negative was that we were given 3 rooms, weren't told which was which was allocated to who and this caused some challenges with charging food/drinks to the rooms, also with the early checkout. In theory this should have been easy to rectify but it never did happen. However, it didn't affect the quality of our stay or the enjoyment of it."
