Privileged environment not far from the banks of the Saône, literally "cut off from the world" in an unusual & exotic setting. A real little "green setting" nestled close to shops & services as well as the historic & pedestrian heart of Chalon. Labeled "City of Art and History", the Burgundian city has a very rich heritage (half-timbered houses, towers and turrets, fortifications and bastions, Saint Vincent cathedral, former episcopal palace, Italian theater "the Piccolo", chapel of the Saint-Laurent island hospital…) & a level of cultural and leisure facilities of very high quality. Small bright apartment of very good comfort. Warm contemporary cachet. Soft & very zen cozy atmosphere. Pleasant enclosed, lawned and vegetated garden (shared with the other gite in the house) nestled at the back of the house. Charming intimate small private terrace, shaded & vegetated, nestled out of sight. Composition: Town house comprising two gites (totally independent, one opposite the other / common entrance from the alley, via a corridor leading to the 2 apartments). Prime location, very easily accessible, in the heart of the famous Burgundy river & wine city - labeled "City of Art and History" - cradle of the invention of photography by Nicéphore Niepce, close to all shops , services and monuments, 1 km from the banks of the Saône & the route of the greenway (connected to EuroVélo6), Saint-Laurent Island & its river marina (departure from the historic Canal du Center ), not far from the circuit of Romanesque churches and the world famous vineyards of the Côtes Chalonnaises, Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune and their various wine routes (including the illustrious Route des Grands Crus). At the crossroads of Chalonnais, Pays Beaunois, Autunois and Bresse Bourguignonne, all rich in grandiose landscapes, renowned gastronomy and an exceptional historical heritage.
