This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Great indoor spa facilities (we had a brilliant couples massage) and the outdoor pool is the perfect place to swim and relax with a cocktail. Such a beautiful hotel - incredible views, service and design. Manteigas the local town was also lovely for an afternoon mooch. The meal in the restaurant at night was excellent as was the breakfast. We stayed in one of the panorama rooms - highly recommended for the immersion in nature feel! The beds were very comfy - we loved it!

We had an excellent overnight stay and it was hard to fault the hotel. Excellent in every way.

Great view, lovely friendly staff, large room

We have just returned from a very pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for a lot of tastes. The hotel was very well located for an easy walk into the old town. Plenty of nice restaurants to try nearby. We would not hesitate to recommend the Pousada de Viseu and hope to return ourselves one day.

The hotel is in the middle of it's own vineyard which makes a spectacular backdrop to the excellent facilities. The staff were so helpful and friendly, it really added to the excellent overall impression left by the hotel. The hotel has an exceptional restaurant serving their home grown produce and wine. We will return!

I booked 6 rooms as a group booking. All rooms were very well appointed and luxurious. The staff in particular were first class, with a special call out for Vanessa who was friendly, hospitable and just a delight.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, great food. If the Serenity concept is to work, the management has to decide: either an adults-only hotel or a separate playground for children. This needs to be improved, as the children otherwise are always loud with everyone.

Great place to stay

The property was located very close to the Fatima pilgramage site. Reception staff were friendly were very welcoming and helpful. Very clean building, rooms were well maintained and cleaned regularly. Breakfast buffet had good selection of food and drinks. Theres also a souviner gift shop in the reception area for last minute gifts.

Lovely modern clean property. Little kitchen in room with all appliances. Great off street free parking.
