"We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Des Alpes Luzern. The location could not be better in the heart of Lucerne’s Old Town on the Reiss River next to the famous Chapel Bridge and 15-minute walk from the train station. Views from the river side are fabulous. The restaurant is very nice and it is especially nice to sit outside viewing the river and beautiful buildings. "The hotel is very well located. In a near but not in the middle of the pedestrian traffic. Rooms are clean and neat. Not very modern but I don’t care. Attention at the front guest is good as well as the restaurant for breakfast. Only serve breakfast. The only negative is the WiFi. It’s terrible. If WiFi is important to you this is not a good option. The rest is great at at the least good. "
