"While the exterior of the building is still going through refurbishing and looks a bit dated, the inside has been nicely updated. The room was secure, spacious, and clean. The location was nicely located between bus stops for easy access. Asian food of all nations is within 2 to 15 min walking distance. A Safeway supermarket and liquor store are 10 min walk. Metrotown mall with a Walmart and Oakridge Park mall (Tiffany, LV, Dior, etc), are both within 15 to 20 min Bus ride. The cruise port and airport are both about a 30 to 45 min Lyft or Uber ride for around $30US. The staff at the hotel is absolutely outstanding."

"I was fully satisfied with our stay at this hotel. It has a perfect location and is very convenient. The breakfast was also good. There are just a few things that could be improved. Some of the meat dishes were too spicy for children, so my son couldn’t eat them. It would be nice to have some milder options for kids. I also often found long hairs on the towels, which was unpleasant. Another small issue was with the wet napkins provided for cleaning the screen and removing makeup. During our 6-night stay, they were provided only twice. On one day, we received 1 napkin for the screen and 1 for makeup removal. On another day, we received 1 for the screen and 2 for makeup removal. Since our reservation was for 2 adults and 1 child for 6 nights, it would be better to provide an appropriate quantity for all guests throughout the entire stay. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and enjoyed the hotel. These are only small things, but improving them would make the experience even better."

The staff members received us and showed us around and had explained how to get around for eating, shopping and traveling. Kudos to Anna and her lovely family. "We had the whole upper part of the house with a fenced private yard with tables, chairs, gazebo, barbecue, and propane heater. The house is in a very quiet, beautiful area and we went walking quite a bit. The host was very easy to communicate with. There is a Safeway and a Starbucks within four minute drive so it was very convenient. There is also a Chinese market about a minute drive away. It was very comfortable staying here."

"The property is located not too far of a drive to the places we had planned to visit within Vancouver (Vancouver Aquarium, Museum of Anthropology, Science World, VanDusen Botanical Garden, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Canada Place, Gastown, Stanley Park, Metropolis at Metrotown). It was also an easy drive to Whistler and White Rock, BC from the place. The property management was responsive when I asked questions during our stay. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would come back here again - very highly recommended!"
