I will NOT be staying again. The property gives off a work and tired feeling. This feeling is confirmed by the dated furniture and scratch marks throughout the hotel room. The nice thing about the room is the bathroom. The bathroom is pretty nice. And the price is just a few dollars less expensive than The Monarch down the street. And The Monarch is such a nicer property. We came back to our room only to find that no one had even brought us clean towels let alone cleaned our room. When I called down and spoke to the manager they said they could come clean it then (at midnight) but that was the most they could do. After I got upset he said they would give us the resort fee back (between $35-$40) on a $450/nt suite. This is completely unacceptable. I rarely write reviews but this was such a negative experience I feel a tremendous responsibility in warning others that this resort will not work with you at even attempt to right their wrongs. On top of that, it was the most sub-par food and service of any hotel we have stayed at in Blackhawk over the past 2 decades. Travelers BEWARE!"
