Vagabond Inn Santa Barbara - Carpinteria North

Vagabond Inn Santa Barbara - Carpinteria North

10/10 Excellent
"Room is clean and modern, has refrigerator with even a freezer space and I can freeze my ice for insulated lunch bag that I need for my medications that need to be refrigerated while I am traveling. This was an unexpected stop off on my way up coast to explore more of California. I became ill on the road and needed someplace safe to clean up and rest. I even had to go to the Santa Barbara Cottage Health Hospital Emergency Department. I was able to extend my stay over the phone from my ER bed while I was treated for some GI issues. I forget the name of the woman at the front desk on Friday, Sept 11, 2026 around 10am who answered my call promptly and professionally. I am originally from New York, so this day I'd especially painful for me. And getting reassurance that my property left there was secure and that I had a nice bed waiting for me when I returned was great and immensely helpful."

"Clean updated rooms and bathrooms. Air conditioning is a huge plus. The parking is very limited. I was very impressed with the size of the rooms and the bed was decently comfortable, just very loud when you move even slightly. The WiFi needs help, we got onto our Netflix and it kept pausing every few minutes until we gave up. No curtains to block out the morning light. Unfortunately I just find it overpriced."
