Very convenient location close to centre of Cascais, where there are many restaurants and bars. Hotel staff were very helpful, and as the hotel is a former fort it has a unique feel. Fantastic views over the marina from the breakfast room!

Room was lovely very clean, cleaners in everyday, balcony & little kitchenette. Staff wonderful very helpful, lovely breakfast everything you needed hot food, cold meats, fruit & cereal. Hotel in itself was lovely. & spotless will recommend to family & friends who may wish to holiday in Portugal and we would like to return sometime 🙂

From arriving in Estoril to getting the cab to the airport it was an impressive 5 day break at Hotel Inglaterra. Getting to the hotel from the airport wasn't a problem, taking the aerobes into Lisbon(30mins) before catching the metro west to Estoril(35mins), around €7 total. The metro offers stunning views of the coast line too. From the metro station it is around a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. Fabulous location right on the beach. All rooms have a sea view perfect for watching the sunset. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, breakfast had a good selection. The pool was fab!

Superb service from point of arrival to point of check out. Ana and the team were extremely helpful and informative with excellent tips and suggestions on the local area. Best hotel I have stayed at, location great as a central point to Lisbon and surrounding areas, superb amenities and extras included. Highly recommend and wish I stayed longer.

Lovely, relaxing, peaceful, but you need a car

The hotel is very central on the Rua Augusta which is what we wanted. It’s on a pedestrianised street full of shops, restaurants and bakeries. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Arco da Rua Augusta and Praça do Comercio. Easy to catch a tram to Belem Tower and Jeroniomos Monastery. We walked to all other tourist attractions in about 30 mins , but we like that. Excellent little hotel!!

The hotel is placed in a quiet neighbourhood so it was very peaceful and still accessible to all . The room cleaning might take some time but I guess it’s expected . Overall it was a pleasant experience

Nice hotel. A little remote from Lisbon but with Ubers and Bolts a plenty and cheap travel costs worked out perfectly. Excellent breakfast selection from continental to cooked food.
